It was cool today here in Japan, though it's still summer.

Well, by the way, did you know one of the items of Eggs 'n Things in Japan, "Eco Tote Bag," is very popular among customers?

Also, did you know they're doing "Red & Black Garlic Shrimp Summer Campaign" right now?

I know I should have written about the campaign last month because it needs a small card they gave away last month to those who ordered seasonal "Red Garlic Shrimp," which is not available anymore.

Well, the campaign is like this; Have their seasonal item "Red Garlic Shrimp" and Get a stamp card. One stamp is already put on the card. "Red Garlic Shrimp" is offered from July 17 till 31.

Then, have another seasonal one "Black Garlic Shrimp" from August 16 to September 2 and show the stamp card at a cash register. You can get 1 Eco Tote Bag for 1 stamp card.

Well, that's why I should have written much earlier. We can't get a stamp card anymore.

Both were hot and spicy.

They have "Garlic Shrimp ~North Shore Style~" as a regular item, I mean, on their grand menu. So these two seasonal ones are like arranged versions of it.

I think they offered such arranged items as seasonal ones many times this year, like Chedar Cheese Loco Moco, Salmon & Ahi Poke Bowl, Quintuple Berry Pancakes, Happy Easter Campaign, Double Berry Pancakes and Aurora Sauce Eggs Benedicts. I find it a bit boring. I'm sick and tired of it, to be honest.

NEW I know what they're trying to achieve by offering these arranged menus, but that kind of idea or thinking is way faaaaaar from "Be generous," I have to say. A company has to make a profit, and Eggs 'n Things is no exception, you know, but I just feel Eggs 'n Things Japan has changed somehow ... not for the better, I'd say. Well, it's hard to make myself understood in English, but I'll try. I think ... when we try to grow better, we must change to some degree, even though it's sometimes very tough, you know, but we also have to keep on doing something important ... I mean, there's also something we shouldn't change. It's not only about a company or business, I think. When a person tries to grow and evolve, he or she has to learn and realize something, and to change himself or herself. On the other hand ... well, you know what I'm going to say. Hope it makes sense.

Anyway, their Eco Tote Bag is available at 500 yen anytime at all the locations of Eggs 'n Things in Japan. If you've missed "Red & Black Garlic Shrimp Campaign" but wanna get one, you can still buy it. It's ONLY 500 YEN after all.

I already bought one last year since it's so reasonable, and I just got another one the other day since I had both Red & Black Garlic Shrimps.

Actually, I didn't think their Eco Tote Bag was cool and good since it's so simple and cheap. As I wrote in "Be Generous," I've been using their navy Large Tote Bag and it's my favorite. But, I came to like their Eco Bag very very much as I use it. You know what? It's very very useful and worth bringing it especially when you travel. It's bigger than you may think and can hold a lot of things. It doesn't get torn.

Aloha.ハイビスカス

I had these two at Eggs 'n Things LaLaport Chiba, which is located in Chiba prefecture, Kanto region. Chiba is a place where Tokyo Disney Land & Sea are located.

宝石赤 Well, the store manager of the location, who would like to open his own cafe someday, told me last year he really likes the color red, and that he used to wear red Aloha Shirts he chose and got by himself before the company changed the rule and decided official Aloha Shirts for Ohana. He said he'd bought a lot of Aloha Shirts to wear. Now their Aloha Shirt has only three colors, Green, Blue and Pink, he can't wear a red one anymore. He complained about it before, haha. He wore a green one when I visited Eggs 'n Things the other day, but I sometimes saw him wear a pink one. I think he chose pink instead of red.

On the other hand, their Aloha Apron has much more colors and designs, actually. I've always wanted to get and wear their purple Apron, but it's not an item sold at Eggs 'n Things, unfortunately. It's available at Eggs 'n Things' retail shop in Hawaii, I guess?やしの木

NEW Well, I think I should add this so people don't get confused when they go eat at Eggs 'n Things in Japan.ナイフとフォークSome Ohana still can wear colorful Aloha shirts while others including store managers like him have to choose among three colors that I've just mentioned. There's a reason, but I won't write about it because I'm not sure whether it's okay to tell people or not, you know. Anyway, enjoy Ohana's outfits and find your favorite color. Oh, "Ohana" is a Hawaiian word meaning "Family," as I mentioned many times before, and staff members of Eggs 'n Things in Japan are called "Ohana."

I don't think he reads English, but I'd say Ayano-chan can translate this, haha. Well, you two, I do hope you get along with each other, and I'm sure you will.

They should learn to treat each other with respect, I think. They both say frankly what they think like I do and have similar personalities to some extent. When I was younger, I was like her, so I know how she feels.

Some people can't believe it at all, I think, but I usually show respect for men, think highly of and support them while I think that I'm more manly than many Japanese men and sometimes make fun of them, haha. But when I was younger, I really hated young guys especially my age and used to make light of them. That was why I decided to go to a girls' high school, actually. But now I think young guys are sometimes so cute though I never fall in love with them.

Sorry in advance, but I'd say dealing with men is sometimes like raising children. Some men will get angry with that. Sorry about that.

My honey loves green, by the way.グリーンハート I guess he prefers dark green like the color of Tully's Coffee. Green is my favorite color, too. Actually, I came to like green much better than before thanks to my darling. キスマーク

By the way, Eggs 'n Things in Japan has renewed their "Eggs 'n Things × Hydro Flask" items. They just arrived on store shelves this week. They are so cool.

They first started "Eggs 'n Things × Hydro Flask" at the begining of March last year. It comes in three colors, Mango, White and Parcific, and its size is 12 oz.

This time, they added 16 oz, and it also comes in three colors; White, Mint and Lemon.

I've already brought two of the new three, and I'll get the other one, the white 16 oz one, sometime.

Of course, I've got the previous three, too.

So, both sizes have a white one while the other two colors are different from each other. I think white ones can go well with any outfits. I sometimes found it difficult to choose clothes that match a color of Hydro Flask and vice versa, but its white one was no problem, I think. I haven't used them that much, though.

Oh, I got its "Flip Cap" last year, and I find we can use it for the renewed ones as well.

When I got "Eggs 'n Things × Hydro Flask" items last year, I checked Hydro Flask's official website both in English and Japanese, and I thought their Plum and Sage items were really my taste and I'd have both someday. I just checked them, and these two colors don't seem available. That's too bad. I think their Olive is also my and my hon's favorite one, but I wanted their Plum one more than anything. I know they have a Raspberry one, which is still offered, but I prefer Plum. Their Plum color looks like violet. 宝石紫

I like purple the best, you know, and I like violet much better than reddish purple. I prefer blue to red, so maybe that's why. On the other hand, I like purple because when we mix blue and red, we can make purple, you know. I mean, I wanna be a person who understand both sides, or opposite sides, like men and women, light and dark, and so on.

Which color do you prefer?
