You can try these at Tower Records Omotesando Cafe in Tokyo, Japan.コーヒー

"The Greatest Showman", the movie started on February 16 here in Japan, is going to release its Blu-ray & DVD on May 23 here. I can't wait.音譜

Of course, I already reserved it, but ... To be honest, I'm really really shocked by something. I almost cry. I ... I don't think I can get over.

Well, I failed to reserve their special Blu-ray version that is produced in limited quantities and has the first production limited special package. I didn't expect this one would sold out so soon.

That item only includes lots of bonus features such as "behind the scenes" and dance tutorial for "This Is Me." I guess this dance tutorial is the same one that was once on their official You-tube channel but later was deleted. Oh my goodness, I should have reserved much earlier. Is that incuding these interviews below too? I hope they'll produce other DVD or Blu-ray products that include those bonus features so more people can see the stories behind the making the movie, even though these packages are not limited special ones.

They've just added a new one on You-tube.

How should I explain? Well, when a film is going to be released as DVD and Blu-ray in Japan, it has some kinds and patterns. In general, one movie sells DVD & Blu-ray, DVD or Blu-ray only, and sometimes there are more products, such as Blu-ray Special Edition and so on.

Nowadays, lots of films release DVD & Blu-ray version, so in this case, when we buy this kind of item, we can get both its DVD and its Blu-ray disc with only 1 item. Hope it makes sense.

Also, Blu-rays or Blu-ray & DVD versions have so-called various bonus features but DVD only don't. That happens sometimes here, like this time. I mean "The Greatest Showman," or "グレイテスト・ショーマン" in Japanese, its limited edition Blu-ray, Blu-ray & DVD have sing-along bonus features but DVD only type doesn't any of these.

On top of that, several shops including Tower Records, HMV, TUTAYA, all of which are famous in Japan and sell DVDs and Blu-rays as well as CDs and albums, sometimes offer limited giveaways for those who reserve products at their real shops or online ones in advance or earlier. These giveaways are usually limited quantity offers.

For example, if we reserve early any kind of product among DVDs and Blu-rays of "the Greatest Showman" at Tower Records Cafe in Omotesando, they give away pin badges when they purchase what they reserved. The pin badges are limited offers, of course, so I went to Tower Records Cafe Omotesando yesterday so I can get it.

Well, Tower Records is a famous CD shop in Japan, especially for their chatchphrase "No Music, No Life." Tower Records itself was born in the United States, right?

Anyway, I didn't know that Tower Records in Japan has some cafes. Now their Omotesando cafe, which is located near Eggs 'n Things Harajuku, is collaborating with "The Greatest Showman" and serving the special menu inspired by the film for a limited time only:

グレイテスト・ショーマン × Tower Records Cafe; from May 9 to May 27.

I tried these two beverages there.

This is "THE GREATEST SHOWMAN" Latte. They have "THIS IS ME" latte, too, and I'll have it too the next time I go there.

Well, the card that looks like a ticket and the postcards in the photo ... These special giveaways are limited quantity offers, so, if I go to the cafe next week, they may not give customers these gifts. The collaboration cafe is giving away one postcard to one drink or food item. I ordered two beverages, so that's why I got two postcards. And, that card is given to customers coming to the cafe regardless of the number or the kind of the items they order at the cafe.

This one is "P.T. Barnum"beverage. It's a pineapple soda one, actually. They say it's created in the image of  "P.T.Barnum," the full moon, and the "wishing machine" in the film. Right now they're offering "Charity Barnum" beverage as well, and these two are only available from May 9 till 17.

After that, they'll be doing "Phillip Carlyle" and "Anne Wheeler" beverages from May 18 till May 27, the last day of the collaboration cafe. Also, they're serving the movie-themed food items and other drinks while the collaboration cafe lasts. You can check the photos of the food & drink items on their menu here.

I tried on the outfit of P.T. Barnum, the main character Hugh Jackman played.

These are costume replicas, and they're going to display other characters' ones from May 18 till 27. The characters are: "Phillip Carlyle" and "Anne Wheeler." So we can enjoy Philip & Anne-themed beverages and their costume replicas as well during the period.

  "THIS IS ME."

The song is great and I really like this. Still, I like "Come Alive" the best. "Rewrite The Stars" and "The Greatest Showman" are still my favorites, but I love"Come Alive." I'm listening to the soundtrack writing this.

I hope they make a dance tutorial for "Come Alive."

By the way, I came by Eggs 'n Things Harajuku to have their new seasonal pancakes after having a great time at Tower Records Cafe Omotesando.

They started "Dark Sweet Cherry Custard Pancakes" and are offering them until June 3. I'll write about them sometime.

Also, they're serving "Cheddar Cheese Loco Moco" from May 21 till June 3.

I forgot to ask Ohana, staff members of Eggs 'n Things, to decorate my pancake's plate with chocolate pens as I usually do, and one female Ohana gave me this idea, I mean, decorating a smaller plate instead of the pancake's one. Thanks a lot.

I think their new seasonal pancakes taste better than the previous ones. I wonder what they're going to offer next. It'll be a summer-limited item, I guess.

コーヒー I hope Laughing Man Coffee, a cafe in New York owned by Hugh Jackman, opens its stores in Japan too in the future. He can do it. You know what? Laughing Man Coffee seems to be offering Matcha latte or something like that as well as their popular Flat White. I've never been to the cafe, and I wanna someday, but if they open its location here, say in Tokyo, I can stop by quite often.
