As I promised, I saw "The Greatest Showman" on February 16. Yes, the film was just released today here in Japan. 日本 I got the soundtrack and now I'm writing this blog post listening to it.CD

NEW Hugh Jackman Interview (with Japanese translation).

You know, I'm a big fan of Hugh Jackman, so I'd always wanted to see the film. On top of that, I do like listening to music and watching dances, so "The Greatest Showman" is perfect for me. Not to mention the fact that he's a great actor, many people know he's a good singer. But I didn't know that he's good at dancing. You'll be surprised, too. He's great.

All the songs are really good, but I like especially "The Greatest Show," "Come Alive," "Never Enough," "This Is Me," and "Rewrite The Stars."音譜 Also, all the dances are so cool. I wanna practice them though some of them seem too difficult.

After I finish updating my English blog, I'll read the movie brochure again, which is written in Japanese. Generally speaking, when a movie is released in Japan, its movie booklet as well as goods and sometimes its soundtrack are sold at theaters all over Japan, I mean cinemas. I remember I got a movie booklet of Harry Potter's 2nd film when I was a high school student. I'm not sure, but small theaters sometimes don't have these kinds of things, I guess. Movie booklets usually have a lot of photos, interviews of actors and so on. They are not sold at bookstores. NEW They might be bigger than many of you think and they look like magazines at first glance, actually, but they are available at theaters in Japan, not at bookstores. "The Greatest Showman" has its movie brochure and sountrack and it doesn't seem to sell any goods except them.

Well, if you don't wanna listen to songs or watch what the story goes like unless you see the movie at the theater, just scroll down and read the rest.

"Come Alive."

Though this one is not a movie scene, you see it's a cheerful song, right? I like this. To tell you the truth, after writing this blog post "This Is Me", I listened to all songs on YouTube. I couldn't help checking them though I didn't want to before seeing the film at a theater ... Actually, I listened to "Come Alive" a lot when I took a trip to Kyoto and Osaka last week, haha. This song's tune makes me feel better and smile.アップ

Spoiler Warning; The movie brochure says (in Japanese) that they themselves performed this ... I mean, without stuntmen. NEW It also says they did 90 percent of the song's dance perfomance by themselves. That's cool, isn't it?

"Never Enough."

"The Greatest Showman." These music videos are official ones, just in case.

Well, I'll write about "The Greatest Showman" again sometime. This is my favorite film. It's "the greatest show" I've ever seen, haha. But I'm not joking. It was great. I cried many times while seeing it. I want more people to see it while it's showing in Japan. I think I'll see the movie again. I can't wait to get the DVD. DVD teaches me a lot of things such as English and dances. Above all, we can watch the favorite movie again and again, you know.

This official video show how to dance "This Is Me," the main song of the "Greatest Showman." Hope I'll be able to dance this and the other ones, too (except "Rewrite The Stars" 'cause it's impossible for me). I'll try.
