クリスマスツリーIt's Christmas time, you know. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and the day after tomorrow is Christmas. クリスマスベルジンジャーブレッドマントナカイサンタ

These are photos of my cat that I took for Christmas last year. He wore the Santa Claus costume as you can see. I got these two, Kuro's outfit and the small Christmas tree lighting up, at 3 coins shop last year. Yeah, I always get seasonal costumes for Kuro at 3 coins shops, haha. By the way, that small Christmas tree, its color changes, actually. I don't use it this year, though.

日本 Well, Christmas and Christmas eve are widely celebrated every year in Japan, though most of them are not Christians, and lots of shops and restaurants offer Christmas limited items or menus, though they are not from America. I hear many people in other countries, especially people in America, wonder why many Japanese people think Christmas Eve is a day for couples, not for families, haha. アメリカ In America, many people celebrate Christmas Eve with their families, right?

And they say Coca Cole's commercials make many people think Santa Claus dresses like that, I mean, Santa wears a red outfit, and red is Coke's color, you know. See their page on this topic. It's from their official website and is written in English.

ピンク音符"Santa Tell Me" from Ariana's "Christmas Kisses."キスマーク From this Christmas album, I personally like her "Love Is Everything" the best. Unfortunately I couldn't find an official video of "Love Is Everything", but the music video of "Santa Tell Me" is so cute, isn't it?

CD Well, I've been listening to Ariana Grande's album "Christmas Kisses" and Justin Biber's "Under the Mistletoe" as I mentioned in the previous blog post. Especially Justin's "Under the Mistletoe" is a special album because I listened to it a lot when I first met someone special in my life, as I wrote before when I mentioned my darling's birthday in advance.バースデーケーキ ハート

ブルー音符All I Want For Christmas Is You (Super Festive!)" by Justin Biber with Mariah Carey.

むらさき音符Justin Biber covers "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."

Well, today, I'll write about this year's Christmas items and menus of some eateries in Japan. Also, I'll introduce several Christmas songs that I often listened to during Christmas season.音符

ピンクドーナツFirst of all, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts' "HOLLY JOLLY HOLIDAY," which I mentioned last month. My Cat Kuro collaborates with them again, and I got his outfits at 3 coins this year again.

"Snowman Chocolate."雪  It tastes of chocolate as its name suggests.

"Double Caramel Reindeer."トナカイThis tastes of caramel. These two, I mean Snowman and Reindeer doughnuts, they are cute, but they tasted so so. I love the other two, their "Christmas Banana Tree"クリスマスツリー and "Strawberry Cheese Santa"サンタ. They tasted great. The former tastes of banana while the latter tastes strawberry.

バナナ On top of that, "Christmas Banana Tree" is cute, isn't it?クリスマスツリー It is green, and has a star.星 This one is really to my taste. It's a Christmas tree anyway, haha. I tried Krispy Kreme's 4 seasonal doughnuts, and I like this Christmas one the best.グリーンハート Oh, by the way, that mug with a star is this year's Christmas item of Tully's Coffee.コーヒー

"Strawberry Cheese Santa."サンタいちご

By the way ... 3 coins always offers many seasonal outfits for cats and dogs, and it seems this one is popular compared with the other Christmas suits that 3 coins sells this year.

Kuro becomes an angel. 天使

ドーナツNext, mister Donut's Christmas donuts, "Pon De Wreaths." There are 3 kinds.

The green one is "Ponde Wreath Pistachio," the red one is "Pon De Wreath Raspberry" and the brown one "Pon De Wreath Chocolate." They are Christmas versions of "Pon De Ring," which is a famous brand of mister Donut, misdo, as I mentioned in "Matcha Lovers." "Pon De Ring" is only available at mister donuts in Japan, I guess.

Misdo in Japan offers other Christmas items this year, but I just tried their "Pon De Wreaths." Actually, I prefer their last year's Christmas items. They offered Snoopy donuts as I wrote a few times before.

They were really good.

Well, mister Donut in Japan shows seasonal items they offered in the past on the website, like last year's ones, and I find misdo did Pon De Wreath Chocholate and Raspberry last year too. I'd say misdo in Japan focused too much on Misdo Gohan, which started last month, and they didn't pay much attentin to their Christmas menu this year. Still, I like mister Donut because many locations in Japan play foreign songs, strictly speaking "Misdo Club Music Station," and I enjoy listening to misdo's background music while I'm in misdo. You know what? We can also check out songs they are playing this month and played last month on their website. Of course, they are playing Christmas songs this month. Sorry, misdo... I've attached links of several pages of the website though they allow people to put links of the home page only.あせる

ホットケーキ And ... "Aloha Christmas" of Eggs 'n Things.ナイフとフォーク

You know, when I said "I love you forever" to my hon in English and in Hawaiian language as well here in my blog, I showed you the photos of two seasonal pancakes, "Hau Hau" Strawberry Pancakes and "Kokoleka" Mixberry Pancakes, and their seasonal beverage, Winter Vacation, too.

"Winter Vacation" is one of the seasonal drinks Eggs 'n Things is offering right now. It's really good.

It's beautiful, right?

"Hau Hau" Strawberry Pancakes and "Kokoleka" Mixberry Pancakes.

Both taste great.グリーンハーツ They are eggsellent, haha. Some people use "eggcellent" when they say "excellent," you know, and I just said "eggsellent" instead of them because they are Eggs' items, haha.

Anyway, to be honest, I like the left ones better. I've never seen pancakes served with green whipped cream at Eggs 'n Things before, and their color and appearance are perfect for Christmas. Don't you think so? On the other hand, Eggs has offered chocholate pancakes many times before. Actually, I thought, "Wow, Kokoleka Pancakes are really good too, but they are like Valentine's pancakes they've served so far. These are not for Christmas."

Both of them were Valentine's Pancakes of Eggs 'n Things. The left ones were this year's "Tripple Chocolate Browny Pancakes"and the right ones were the year before last's "Chocolate Milk Pancakes with Mixberry". They offered "Special Valentine's Pancakes" last year though I didn't have.

And their last year's Christmas pancakes were "Mixberry & White Chocolate Cocoa Pancakes."

I forgot what they were, but I guess these were seasonal pancakes for winter a few years ago. I remember I got them in January the year before last.

I was so fat ... Sing Meghan Trainor's song! Haha, I'm joking. She is not my favorite singer and I don't like that song at all, but I like her another song, "Better When I'm Dancin'." It's good.

コーヒー Finally, "Customize your Holiday Season" of Tully's Coffee.

Tully's Coffee started "Irish Latte" and "Mascarpone Tiramisu Latte" at the begining of last month as I wrote in "Stay With Me While We Grow" and then added photos of Tully's Christmas goods.

They started  "& TEA Royal Milk Tea" and "Stollen Latte" at the end of last month.

Their Christmas paper cups are not available at some locations.

音譜 Well, so, I'll introduce several Christmas songs. I hope many of them are new to you and you'll like some. I don't write about famous Christmas songs such as "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" by John Lennon and "Last Christmas" by Wham! because many people already know and have listened to them.クリスマスツリー

This is a compilation album released more than 10 years ago, though I got this when I was 20 years old or so. This has two discs and includes various artists' Christmas songs.

"My Only Wish" by Britney Spears from that Christmas album.

Gee, I thought this one was an offical one, but it's not. I don't think many people like Britney and her music, haha, but I like her pop and R & B songs, actually, though her current music is not pop or R & B, either. I had many of her albums when I was a teenager, and I still like many of her songs I used to listen to at the time. I bought her "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative" DVD as well because I was a big fan, and I haven't thrown it away. It included all of her music videos then. I think she's a good dancer.

"Wow! Disney mania" is a series in which many famous artists cover Disney songs. The album in the photos is its Christmas ver. released many years ago, and various artists like Stacie Orrico and Jesse MacCartney cover famous Christmas songs instead of Disney songs. Though "Wow! DIsney mania" has not released a new one for many years, at least in Japan, I really liked their 1st one, "Wow! Disney mania 1." I sometimes listen to it. I have "Disney mania 2" as well.

Stacie Orrico ... I haven't listened to her Christmas album "Christmas Wish" yet, but I wanna get the album someday. To be honest, I still have her two albums, "Stacie Orrico" and "Beautiful Awakening." Mmm ... I don't think she should have quit her singing career. She didn't seem to like so-called celebrity and the music business and industry, but she had a lot of fans and people wanted to listen to her new songs and her singing. Besides, people who are good at singing and wanna be singers can not always become singers, and singers don't always get famous, but she did both. I'd say she made light of her gift, luck or calling from heaven or something.

And Jesse MacCartney ... many Japanese people don't know his songs or who he is, but he is the one that wrote a song named "Bleeding Love" and gave it to Leona Lewis, who won the Grammy Award with the song. He himself sings this song in his 3rd album. When I got his 1st album "Beautiful Soul," I was a high school student, and I still have the album.

.

From that "Disney mania Presents Wow! Christmas," I like Jesse's two songs. He covers 1 Christmas song, "Winter Wonderland", and sings 1 original song "One Way or Another" in the album. But I like this song the best; "Sleigh Ride" covered by Jump 5.

This is not an official video, either. I know this is a famous song. I'm sure many have listened to the original one or other artists' cover versions, but I like Jump 5's cover version, so I've added here. You know what? Jump 5 doesn't exist anymore, but the group covered "Beauty & the Beast" and their version is not a ballad song but a dance one. Also, I like their "Aloha E Komo Mai" and "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from a disney animated film "Lilo & Stitch." Both songs have several Hawaiian words.やしの木
