Winter is here and with it lower temperatures for us to endure for the coming weeks and months. Out of the storages and wardrobes come parkas, down jackets, heaters, hot patches, electric blankets and the like to help us withstand the cold.
How do you deal with the cold? I for one, actually welcome colder weather and try not to fight the chill as much as I used to, trying to adjust to it rather than putting myself in the heat zone. Balance is key to adaptation. Make sure you’re not overheated or frozen to the bone and you give yourself a better chance for a healthy winter.
What has worked for me to start my day is warm clothes, exercise and cold showers followed by a combo of a hot ginger jelly drink and an English breakfast. Hot ginger jelly, however, works a treat at any time of a cold day 😉.
