We’ve been seeing more and more hot, sunny days recently and some of us felt the urge to go outside and have a taste of summer. I have been scouring the Internet for some lesser-known places where I could combine sightseeing with taking a rest in the nature. One such place last weekend was Kyu-Furukawa Gardens, just 7 minutes from Nishigahara Station on Namboku Line. If you like roses in the context of traditional English gardens combined with Japanese setting this might just be a place for you. Enjoy the idyllic surroundings, having a picnic and listening to live classical music quartet. You might even be tempted to buy some rose-flavoured souvenirs!
