イザヤ書9章
８）主がヤコブ（全十二部族）に一つのことばを送られた。それはイスラエル（十部族）に落ちた。
９)この民、エフライムとサマリヤに住む者たちはみな(イスラエルの家の十部族）、それを知り、高ぶり、思い上がって言う。
10）「れんがが落ちたから、切り石で建て直そう。いちじく桑の木が切り倒されたから、杉の木でこれに代えよう。」
11）そこで主は、レツィンに仇する者たちをのし上がらせ、その敵たちをあおりたてる。
12）東からはアラムが、西からはペリシテ人が、イスラエルをほおばって食らう。それでも、御怒りは去らず、なおも、御手は伸ばされている。
13）しかし、この民は、自分を打った方に帰らず、万軍の主を求めなかった。
14）そこで、主はイスラエルから、かしらも尾も、なつめやしの葉も、ただ一日で切り取られた。
15）そのかしらとは、長老や身分の高い者。その尾とは、偽りを教える預言者（偽りの代言者）。
16）この民の指導者は惑わす者となり、彼らに導かれる者は惑わされる。
17）そえゆえ、主はその若い男たちを喜ばず、そのみなしごをも、やもめをもあわれまない。みなが神を敬わず、悪を行ない、すべての口が恥ずべきことを語っているからだ。それでも、御怒りは去らず、なおも御手は伸ばされている。
イザヤ書28章
７）しかし、これらの者もまた、ぶどう酒のためによろめき、強い酒のためにふらつき、祭司も預言者（神の代言者となるべきはずの者）も、強い酒のためによろめき、ぶどう酒のために混乱し、強い酒のためにふらつき、幻を見ながらよろめき、さばきを下すときよろける。
８）どの食卓も吐いた汚物でいっぱいで、余すところもない。
イザヤ書43章
27）あなたの最初の先祖（アダム）は罪を犯し、あなたの代言者たちは、わたしにそむいた。
28）それで、わたしは聖所のつかさたちを汚し、ヤコブが聖絶されるようにし、イスラエルが、ののしられるようにした。
エレミヤ書５章
30）恐怖と、戦慄が、この国のうちにある。
31）預言者は偽りの預言をし、祭司は自分かってに治め、わたしの民はそれを愛している。その末には、あなたがたは、どうするつもりだ。
マラキ書２章
５）わたしの彼（レビ）との契約は、いのちと平和であって、わたしは、それらを彼に与えた。それは恐れであったので、彼はわたしを恐れ、わたしの名の前におののいた(

Isaiah 9 (HNV)
8)The Lord sent a word into Ya'akov (those who all twelve tribes), and it has lighted on Yisra'el (those who ten tribes).
9)All the people shall know, even Elfrayim and the inhabitant of Shomron (Ten tribes of the House of Israel), who say in prode in arrogance of heart,
10)The bricks are fallene, but we will build with hewn stone; the sycamores are cut down, but we will put sedars in their place.
11)Therefore the LORD will set up on high against him the adversaries of Rtzin, and will stir up his enemies,
12)The Aram before, and the Pelishtim behind; and they shall devour Yisrae'l with open mouth. For all his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
13)Yes the people have not turned to him who struck them, neither have they sought the LORD of Hosts.
14)Therefore the LORD will cut off from Yisra'el head and tail, palm-branch and rush, in one day.
15)The elder and the honorable man, he is the head; and the prophet who teaches lies (false spokesperson), he is the tail.
16)For those who lead this people cause them to err; and those who are led of them are destroyed.
17)Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Isaiah 28
7)Even these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink; the Kohen and the prophet (who is supposed to be God's spokesperson) reel with strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they stagger with strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8)For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
Isaiah 43
27)Your first father (Adam) sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
28)Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Ya'akov a curse, and Yisra'el a reviling.
Jeremiah 5
30)A wonderful and horrible thing is happen in the land:
31)The prophets prophesy falsely, and the Kohanim bear rule by their means; and my people to have it so: and what will you do in the end of it?
Malachi 2
5)"My covenant was with him (Levi) of life and shalom; and I gave them to him who he might be reverent toward me; and he was reverent toward me, and stood in awe of my name.
6)The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips. He walked with me in shalom and uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.
7)For the Kohen's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of Hosts.

9)"Therefore I have also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according to the way you have not kept my ways, but have had respect for persons in the law.
