6)When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he burned with anger.
7)He took a pair of oxen, cut them in to pieces, and sent the pieces by messengers throughout Israel, proclaiming, "This is what will be done to the oxen of anyone who does not follow Saul and Samel." Then the terror of the LORD fell on the people, and they turned out to as one man.
1)If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with his spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
2)then make my joy complete by being likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
12)Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
13)for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
