I write not out of hatred, but out of love.
Love for my husband, whose dignity has been taken away.
Love for the truth, hidden beneath power and indifference.
Even if lawsuits are impossible, our voices are not.
They will resonate — across time, and across silence.
This is not only my personal voice.
It is the testimony of all those who have been ignored, neglected, and silenced.
I write as Yoko AQUA —
to resist not with violence, but with records and resonance.
True peace is not only the absence of war. It is the protection of human dignity and the freedom to choose—even in times of crisis. Perhaps that is the very core of our prayer for the future.
Dignity is the foundation upon which freedom stands. Even for souls that may seem beyond saving, I hope we live in a world where the spirit of dignity is protected.
In the pandemic of the 2020s, many were excluded from their jobs and communities without even being allowed to explain why. Some said their final goodbyes to loved ones through a window. I will not forget.
At the time, vaccines were still undergoing clinical trials, yet mandates spread across the world. Long-term effects on certain parts of the body were still unknown, and some voices warned of the risks. On the day I was vaccinated, I felt light and well. But in the months that followed—brain fog, irregular bleeding, shingles— my body and mind were left with many questions.
May this prayer be a small light to ensure we never repeat the same mistakes.
Looking back through history, no matter how powerful a system or advanced its technology,
the moment it loses the hearts and trust of its people, it begins to fall apart.
The Roman Empire had unmatched military power and infrastructure,
yet corruption and unfair taxes eroded public trust, leading to collapse from within.
The French monarchy before the Revolution flourished in art and culture,
but vast inequality and arrogance in power ignited the people’s anger.
The Soviet Union during the Cold War was also a military giant,
yet in an atmosphere of tension and fear,
freedom of speech and individual dignity were restricted,
and people gradually lost hope for the future.
Today, we see this pattern repeating.
In the same society, there are those surrounded by abundance,
while others cannot afford bread, pay for treatment, or find a safe place to sleep.
A society that holds both abundance and deprivation cannot last long—
history has proven this time and again.
What sustains the future is not the strength of technology,
but keeping the heart at the center.
May we never forget that.
