so the ordered cd's arrived. i was expecting to receive them yesterday and checking the tracks at deja vu; howerver, they couldn't make it. anyway, i'm happy with them.

と言うわけでオーダーしていたcdが到着。昨日届くかな、それでデジャヴでチェックでいるかな？なんて思っていたんですが間に合わず。ともあれ、ハッピーハッピーです。

i am listening to them now, and they take my mind back to good ol' 90's. actually, they still sound pretty good! i still remember that i had played his tracks so many times at cafes, restaurants, etc. in fact, i could stll play for a couple of hours with only his tracks. it's been more than ten years since the album was released (not the neko mimi mode though), so it would be the right time to play. taking this opportunity, i will try to dig this kind of stuff: lounge / club style.

今聴いているんですが、90年代当時にトリップ中です。改めて今聴いても良いですね。当時はカフェやレストランなんかでよくかけたものです。今でも彼の曲だけで2時間は回せるんじゃないかと。（ネコ・ミミ・モードは違いますが）アルバムがリリースされてから10年以上経っていますので、ちょうどいい頃合じゃないでしょうか。これを機にこのようなラウンジ／クラブ系を探してみようかな。

actually, there was a couple of stuff i recently ordered (have not yet received though), which was sacrebleu and neko mimi mode, both by dimitri from paris. my favorite track, his love love mode, was in my mind for the last three or so days, and since i didn't bring it with me, i was like "i have to get it." of course, i didn't know about above party at all. both belvedere vodka and dimitri from paris are related to key word "france," and this is more than coincidence!

実は（まだ届いていませんが）、最近dimitri from parisのsacrebleuとneko mimi modeを注文してまして。ここ3日くらい、お気に入りのlove love modeが頭から離れなくて、しかも持ってきていなかったので「手に入れなければ」と思っていたんですよね。勿論、上記のパーティーのことは全く知らずにです。ベルヴェデール・ヴォッカとディミトリ・フロム・パリの共通項と言えば「フランス」、これは偶然以上のものではないでしょうか！

since the previous entry was about ska, here's ska big boys: madness. one night, there were a group of people from scotland. they were in tokyo for the exhibition at omote sando hills. anyway, a couple of ladies came up to me and asked "do you have any ska music?" luckily enough, i had some, so i played specials, madness and rude boys. they all were so happy to hear ska in tokyo (i guess they didn't expect). they were dancing, dancing, dancing.....

前回のエントリーがスカだったのでmadnessです。ある晩、表参道ヒルズでの展示会のために来日していたスコットランドからのグループがお店に来ていました。で、2人の女性がブースのところに来て「スカってありますか？」と尋ねてきたのであります。幸運にもたまたま何枚か持っていたのでスペシャルズとマッドネス、そしてルード・ボーイズをかけました。まさか東京で聞けるとは思っていなかったんでしょうね、とても盛り上がっていました。皆さん、ダンス、ダンス、ダンス・・・。

i am now listening to this album. good music never fades out. i still remember that i went to see "special beat (specials + english beat)" years ago. oh, the opening act for this was no doubt (if i remeber correctly)!

今、このアルバムを聴いているんですが、良い音楽は廃れませんね～。その昔、「special beat （specialsとenglish beatの合体版）」を見に行ったのを今でも覚えています。そう言えば、その時のオープニング・アクトはno doubtでした（記憶が正しければ）！

i have used this p504i for more than seven years or so. well, there was a problem; all the letters in outgoing folder became funny characters, i could not read at all. but other than this problem, it worked almost fine. the biggest reason i kept using this phone was the size. there are thin cell phones now but they are pretty long lengthwise because of the large screen, i guess. and i didn't like that. i have thought buying new one but i always ended up deciding to use this.

このp504iを7年以上は使っていたでしょうか。まぁ、送信済みのメールが文字化けしてしまうという問題はあったものの、それ以外はほぼ問題なく機能していました。この携帯を長く使っていた最も大きな理由はサイズです。今の携帯って薄いのはあるんですが、スクリーンのせいか縦に長いんですよね。で、これまでにも新しい携帯を買おうと思ったことはあったんですが、最終的にはこの携帯を使い続けていました。

however, nowadays, people tend to write long emails but my phone has restriction; the number of lettersed up to 500 letters. so, i have to ask the sender to resend me latter half of the emails.....

しかしながら最近では長いメールを送ってくる傾向があり、一方の自分の携帯はというと500文字までという制限がありまして。と言うわけで、メールの後半部分を再送してもらうようお願いしなければならないんですよ・・・。

and a couple of days ago, my phone finally showed a sign of its retirement. it suddenly beeped the alarm which i didn't set. and then it rang to let me know that i received an email. so i checked it but all i found was the unopened email which i had already read.....

そして2日ほど前にとうとうこの携帯にも現役引退の兆候が現れました。セットしていないアラームが突然鳴り出し、メールが届いた音が鳴ったので見てみると、既に読んだはずのメールが未開封になっていたわけです・・・。

i thought this was the time to buy new one. after checking out some cell phones in the internet, i rushed to a cell phone shop.

で、今が買い時かな、と思いましてネットで携帯をチェックした後にショップに急いだのでありました。

this is what i got. i still need some time to get used to using this as it took me five minutes to write one-sentence email.....

購入しましたよ。でも、1行のメールを書くのに5分もかかっちゃってるんで慣れるまではもう暫く時間が必要です・・・。

anyway, to p504i, thank you so much for working with me for such a long time! take a good rest, mate.

i just heard that stones need to take a rest and have to be purified with crystal. and thanks to my wife, she has this piece of crystal. so, after i came back from "candy" at deja vu (oops, i passed out), i put my bracelet and ring to let them rest and purified. oh, i need to do it with my necklase too!

石はクリスタルと一緒に置いて休めたり浄化したりしなければならないということを聞きました。で、有難いことにうちの奥さんがこのクリスタルを持っていたので、deja vuで開催された"candy"（あぁ、酔いつぶれてしまった）から帰ってきた後に早速ブレスレットと指輪を浄化。あ、ネックレスもやらなければ！

i would rather be more to nike side but these adidas sneakers are quite interesting and looking good although they are again black x white. whenever i find cool shoes, i always show the images to my wife but most of the time, she goes like "black x white again!? you have those, don't you know?" Nooooo! well, they are in the same colorway but they are different. (she liked the top stripe ones though)

どちらかと言えばナイキ寄りな方なんですが、このアディダスのスニーカーは良い感じです（またもや黒x白ですが）。良い感じの靴を見つけると必ずうちの奥さんに画像を見せるんですが、「また黒x白!? 持ってるでしょ？」などど言われてしまいます。でも、違～う！まぁ、同じ色合いではありますが違うんですよ～。（上のストライプは良いんじゃないと言ってくれましたが）
