just got these cds. so sweet and mellow yet groovy and cozy remixes. "in dub" cd contains songs with super dub effects! i was also knocked out by the heavy bass lines. i would recommend to get two-cd pack (remix cd and dub cd) which is limited for the first release only.

it's been a long time since i made this last time but i poured coffee beans in a bottle of shochu (distilled spirits) to make coffee shochu. i'm looking forward to have one!

i have been playing records whenever i have time to practice and to get to know the tracks. when i mix tracks, i try to mix them as smoothly as possible as if tracks are flowing from one to another. and since i tend to do the long mix, i barely use cross fader, instead i use vertical faders, eqs and gain knobs. but combining them to create smooth mix is sensitive thing to me, so i wonder how djs use them.
最近は時間があると練習のためにレコードを回しています。で、曲をミックスする時はできるだけスムーズに曲から次の曲へと流れていくような感じで繋げるよう心掛けています。また、ロング・ミックスで繋げることが多いため、クロス・フェーダーは使わずに縦フェーダー、イコライザー、そしてゲインのつまみを使うようにしています。でも、これらの混ぜ具合が自分にとっては繊細でして、他のdjの方々がどんな感じでやっているのか気になったりもしています。

ever since i started writing this blog, i have been writing in both english and japanese to keep practing and trying not to forget what i had earned and reading websites, blogs, etc. to learn phrases, adjectives, nouns and so on. but since i type, instead of write, i keep forgetting words, phrases, etc. (that is why i keep writing in english too).
このブログを始めて以来、ずっと英語と日本語で併記しています。と言うのも、せっかく学んだものを忘れないよう練習し続けるためです。また、海外のサイトやブログも読むようにし、フレーズや形容詞、名詞なんかを学ぶようにしています。ただ、ブログを書く際、書くのではなくタイプしているため、単語やフレーズなんかをどんどん忘れてしまってるんですよね（だからこそ英語でも書き続けているんですが）。
