i went to a shrine to drive out an evil sprit today. i have been doing this for the last several years and now, it has been accustomed to a regular event during new year's holidays. generally speaking, it is pretty much same as new year's visit to shrine. fortunately and thanks to the shrine and kami-sama, i am survived and here i am!
i drove through downtown area and there were so many people there like crowd, crowd, crowd, lines, lines, lines, cars, cars, cars and so on. almost all of them were there for lucky bags or the new year sale but it's just like "wow!"
due to some reasons, the last working day became 30th of december instead of 28th.....got two more working days.
moreover, i checked next year's calendar and found out that three or four saturdays in next year fall on national holidays.....that means we lost three or four holidays.....
anyway, i think i could finish this year without any difficulties (well, there were some though).
i bought some clothes to welcome new year on the way back home. they are nothing formal but all casual ones.
oh, yes, i went to the party which i haven't been for a long while. i left home at around midnight and it was about 12:30am by the time i got to the club. i first drank a glass of beer and moved to the floor. i enjoyed the music for a while rather than dancing. loud sound surely made me been comfortable!!
the venue was separated to 3 floors; 3rd and 5th floors were dance floor and 4th floor was a lounge.
music was mainly house stuff but there were various other music. i happened to sleep a little while but i really enjoyed and it was truly a fun. but the point was that i was one of the top-ranked elderly people among those who were in the club. all the people were so energetic and looked really young :)
i left the club little after 5 in the morning, stopped by at yoshi-gyu, ate some stuff there and left home by cab. it took me until late afternoon to fully recover myself.....
tonight, i will go to a party which i haven't been for a longtime. it is a local party, and admission is only 1,500yen per person which is very reasonable for me. however, i will end up spending about 10,000yen including drinking and cab to get back home..... well, let's forget about money and enjoy the party tonight!
with regard to clubs, it's been so many years since i became a clubber instead of a player.....
i've been using this cellular phone for sooo many years. the reason is very simple: it is very thin. but it's worn out as you can see. i also replaced the battery.
oh, well, i want new one but all the released cell. phones are so big to me. i wonder why makers sell those humongous ones and of course, i am irritated by that. yes, there is a thin one but now i want one with camera...
i've been using the one made by sony ericsson for overseas use but this one is not a folding type: the screen is baldly on top of the phone. i like the folding type.
are there any good ones? if you know, please let me know.
oh, well, i went to hardrock cafe (in chi-town) in last month. it's been a really while since i went to hardrock cafe. anyway, as soon as we sat down on the table, a waitress asked us to show our id's. the waitress seemed like years younger than me though.
so, since we were asked to show, we showed her our id's. anyway, it's been years and years since my age reached to legal drinking age but i was kind of happy to be asked to show my id as that means i still look younger (conversely, i look like just a little kid...).
what i ordered was "fajita." i really missed fajita. it was delicious.
by the way, this is a story about what i saw in hardrock cafe in disney world in florida i went to with my friends loooong time ago (it was during spring break or something). the music played in the cafe was nothing but clash stuff only, so i thought like they were doing special feature in clash or something. then what i saw was mick jones (he's a guitar player in clash) coming in with his family!!! i wanted to ask him to autograph on my t-shirt but i couldn't as i was bit shy (remorse).
one more "light on" story. when i went to roppongi hills as business trip, i walked through the door and the guy came in from the other side of the door was slash (ex-guns 'n' roses, now in revolver?)!!! and when our eyes met, he smiled at me and went into the building.
nutritious drinks you see in stores. there weren't that many years ago but now, many companies sell this kind of drink. these drinks are characterized by highly concenrated ingredients, bit weird names and relatively expensive prices. to name a few for weird names are "monster c (vitamin c)," "super protein (protein)," "super food (fruits, soy lecithin, etc.)," etc. but they all tastes really good. try them whenever you get a chance.
