清少納言さんの「枕草子」の「春はあけぼの」のような景色を目にできるような季節になりました。
春は、あけぼの。やうやう白くなりゆく山ぎは 少し明りて紫だちたる雲の細くたなびきたる。
またこのロバート・ブラウニングさんの詩には、なにやら健康的な春の秘事を感じさせます。

時は春、
日は朝、
朝は七時、
片岡に露みちて、
揚雲雀なのりいで、
蝸牛枝に這ひ、
神、そらに知ろしめす。
すべて世は事も無し。

Robert Browning（1812-1889）はビクトリア朝詩壇を代表する詩人。上の詩は「ピパ過ぎゆく」（Pippa Passes）という1841年の劇詩です。
