五世紀後半今から1,531〜1,549年前狂気の王カサッパ１世が父を殺害し、兄弟の復讐から逃げる為に築いた天空庭園高さ200mの巨大な岩山の頂上に華麗な宮殿を築いた。
その宮殿、シーギリヤロックを登る!登りも下りも過酷だがここに庭園を作らされた名もなき住民もかなりの過酷さと感じる！

In the second half of the 5th century, between 1,531 and 1,549 years ago, the mad king Kasappa I murdered his father and built a magnificent palace atop a 200m-high rocky mountain to escape the revenge of his brothers.
We climbed Sigiriya Rock to find that palace! The climb and descent were tough, but the nameless residents who were forced to build the gardens here must have had an equally tough time!
Is it rage or aesthetics?
