日本古来の太陽神 【天照(amaterasu)】の名の下
日本伝統芸能継承者【孝藤右近】と、DJとして活躍する【神山清豪】によるユニット。
孝藤右近は、古来の神話をベースに日本伝統芸能と
自身考案による刀を駆使したダンスパフォーマンスを展開。
多様性に富むダンスパフォーマーや演者を召集、
それらを融合させた舞台プロデュースを得意とし、
日本文化の「わび・さび」といった独特の美意識を
見る者の心に刻み付けてくれる。
音楽をプロデュースする神山清豪の中では、
神秘的かつ情熱的なダンスミュージックが、揺るぎのない軸として形成されている。
彼のプロデュースする音楽は、まさにボーダーレス。
LIVE演奏で魅せた、様々な楽器によるセッションでのプロデュース力は秀逸だ。
泉に清水が湧くように、選ばれし者だけに次々と込み上げてくる「音」。
それを天性のセンスで操り、聞く者を快楽の世界へと導く。
現在は映画「ラストサムライ」、「座頭市」など多数の作品でアクション俳優として活躍するTAIGAと、LIVEパーカッション・阪上真基が正式メンバーとして加入。

“AMATERASU”It is the collaboration project by
Ukon Takafuji and Seigo Kamiyama (DJ Dress Code)
under the name of “AMATERASU”, the Goddess of
the Sun in the Japanese myth.
Ukon Takafuji is a successor of the traditional
Japanese performing arts.He is a professional dancer of
Classical Japanese dance and he created the sword (Katana)
dance performance based on the Japanese myth world.
His unique stage to express his world with sword dance and
Classical Japanese dance attracts a large audience. Also
he produces the innovative new style stage with hip hop and
break dance performers.
Seigo Kamiyama is performing as DJ Dresscode.
He fuses mysterious and glamorous dance music to instrumental
sound and produces very exciting and unique world.
In the latest work, TAIGA who is performing as a action star
at the movies & quot;Last Samurai” and “ Zatoichi”and
Masaki Sakagami, percussionist,were joined as a official member.
“AMATERASU” is unique and original collaboration project fusing
Japanese traditional culture and brand-new dance music.
It is inspiring a Japanese new generation to go back to
origin and popularize the Japanese traditional culture to the world.
