今日はNIPTカウンセリングで聞いた話を紹介したいと思います。
※NIPTを受けるかどうか迷われる方は多いと思いますが、参考になったら嬉しいです。
NIPTカウンセリングでは、約３０分間、検査の内容・検査結果後のサポート体制・遺伝子の仕組み等、一通り説明を受けました。
聞いた内容全てをメモした訳ではないのですが、カウンセリングで初めて知った内容をいくつか紹介したいと思います。
-NIPT検査で調べる染色体は#13 #18 #21のみ
-#1に遺伝情報量が一番多く、#2 #3・・・と番号が増えるにつれて遺伝情報量は少なくなる
-11wまで胎児が育つということは、#13 #18 #21以外の遺伝子は問題ないということ
-判定結果は３種類（陽性、陰性、保留（DNA量が不足して判定不可の場合はこれ））
カンセリング後、検査用紙に同意サインをして採血を実施。（本日でも次回でもいいとのこと）
結果は次回に聞けるとのこと。

I am writing about the day of NIPT consultation.
I hope this information would be one of the source of this examination.
At the consultation, I learned about the examination details, supports after the examination, and structures of DNA from a doctor in 30min.
I learned a lot about NIPT from website but during the meeting with the doctor I found there were some information I didn’t know.
They are as follow.
-NIPT checks only #13, #18, and #21 of chromosome.
-#1 contains the largest amount of gene information. As the number follows, the amount of information decreases.
-If either #13, #18, #21 have positive result from NIPT, a fetus cannot grow by 11w.
-The result of NIPT is either positive, negative, or pending.
After the consultation, I signed the form of consensus of NIPT and had my blood collected.
During the next visit, I can get the result.
