Here at the final interview of the employment test for national TV station, all interviews had been gazing at one of the interviewees, forgetting any words to him, just at his entering the room. They couldn’t help blinking their eyes, sometimes dropping hastily their lines of sights on the document about him, which was full of excellent lines about his student performance, extracurricular activities, physical performance, social activities, and character.
Finally, the top of the interviews could get his mouth open politely and cautiously.
“Can I ask you if we have mutual acquittance between us, for example, your close…so close close relatives?”
The tall, smart, manly, and parental looking young male interviewee answered clearly, as if he had already known who the answer was.
“My name is He-call-it-cheat, Spector, Old-Tea-monk.”
“If we could have turned our way aside from his clown face. But now we can meet real one.”
One of the female executives, ex-announcer couldn’t stop shedding tears, and got literally tumbled down from her chair, by the straight answer of that young man.
“I have not only one. I have six brothers and sisters in total.”
Knock knock…..
“I’m the next one, and zoom me. Just as provocatively time-consuming as he was.”
“Gasp! Again!”

全国放送のTV局での最終採用面接です。面接官はみな言葉を失い、瞬きしながら、入って来た一人の面接者に目が釘付けでした。時々せわしなく目を落とす選考書類は、学業、特別活動、スポーツ、社会活動、人柄と、その若者の素晴らしさで一杯でした。
ついに、主任面接官が丁寧に用心深く口を開きました。
「君と我々の間に、共通の知人がいたりしたり・・例えば、君の近い、とても近い親戚とか・・・？」
背の高い、賢げで凛々しく、しかも優しい目を持つその若者はためらいなくハッキリと答えました。その質問は予想済みだったのでしょう。
「私の名前は、大手門 Spector 彦一です。」
「もしあの時、人生が少しだけ違っていたら・・私達の目がもう少し・・別の道を・・でも、今とうとう本当の一人と・・」
昔はアナウンサーだった女性役員の一人が呟きました。しかし、アッサリと返されて、文字通り椅子から転げ落ちました。
「一人ではありません。七人兄弟です。」
ノックの音・・
「次は私です。よ～く見て下さい。覚えてますか ぴったんこカンカン！」
あ～又、 無駄になげ～よ。
