They had been watching over an unknown object on their radar.
“Do we have to attack them?”

Suddenly another object, assumedly a bomber plane appeared on the radar.”
“It looks avoiding our controlled area carefully.”
“Apparently to the ship.
“But now nearly intruding.”
“Explosion!”
They could know pretty big explosion in the sea, which could cause dangerous wave to ship nearby.
The flying object left the area of enemy in agile and clear manner.
“What a guy!”
They couldn’t take their eyes off from the radar.
The ship might be barely riding on the wave to avoid the rock reef to the right, but slanting more and more….
“He got it!”
They all yelled unconsciously and lapped their backs each other.
“But how?”
“I want to hear it from the captain, after this war end someday.”
It was one of the plays which Bang-pay band entertained the kids in war time.
The ship was carrying evacuate kids full of its ship bottom.
It was the idea of the captain to spread over many ropes from right to left in the ship bottom before its tightrope challenge.
“Everybody O.K? Now move left!”
Leading and encouraging kids was the role of Bang-Pay-kun.
Kids answered in big unison full of belief and energy.
“Yes!”
“But I heard from my elder brother that he took this idea from the fact hidden. He might know some of these ex-kids and ex-enemy who paid true respect to our foregoers. They and we believe that our moves even over distance can let us know that we all live each mission for invincibility and compassion”
Grandma Call-net smiled proudly and longingly, to little Hina laughing around openly at the last part of the story, in the garden, with Ai.

「それはないだろう。おそらく、舵を損傷しているのではないか。だから、急転回が出来ない。」
彼らは、レーダーに映った影を注視していました。
「攻撃しますか。」
「まだ、どんな船かも分からない。」
別の影が現れました。高速でした。おそらく爆撃機でした。
「我々の支配地域を注意深く避けている。」
「船に接近している。」
「しかし、侵入ギリギリだ。」
「爆発！」
海中でかなり大きな爆発がありました。それは近くを航行中の船にとって危険な波を起こす波でした。
飛行物体は、素早く潔く支配空域を離脱しました。
「何て奴だ！」
彼らはレーダーから目を離せませんでした。
その船は波に乗り、岩礁を右へ避けようとしている・・しかし、大きく右へ右へ傾いていく・・
「やりやがった！」
彼ら全員が歓声を上げ、互いの背中を叩きました。
「しかし、どうやったんだ？」
「あの船長に聞いてみたいな。いつかこの戦争が終わったら。」
これは、戦時中の子供達のための『バンペイ座』の演目の一つです。
船底は，避難する子供達で一杯でした。
あらかじめ船底に、左右に何本もロープを張り渡させたのは船長でした。
「お～っす。みんな 元気あるか！左にいくぞ～！」
子供達に指示をして元気づけるのはバンペイ君の役でした。
元気な声が一つになって
「お～っす！」

好音ばあちゃんは誇らしげに懐かしそうに微笑みました。話が終わった途端に、ヒナはウキャキャと庭を駆け回っていました。アイと一緒でした。
