ボストンを拠点とするパワーポップバンド、ザ・クリック・ファイヴ。
2005年にリリースされたデビューアルバムがいきなりビルボードで初登場15位と、一躍、話題の新人バンドになったものの、ヴォーカリストが脱退。
バンドは、よりカリスマ性が高く、ステージングもうまい、カイル・パトリックを迎え入れ、２枚目のアルバムをリリース、シンガポールやヴェトナム、中国など東アジアのマーケットに進出し、ツアーも大盛況のうちに終わった。
その後、バンドの活動情報は乏しく、カイル・パトリックのソロ活動の情報などもあり、バンドとしては、すでに解散してしまったかな～ と、思っていた矢先にシンガポールで先行リリースされた３枚目のアルバム「TCV」に収録。
「I Quit！ I Quit！I Quit！」「The Way It Goes」「Nobody's Business」「Fever For Shakin」と言った曲とともに、親しみやすいキャッチーなメロディが全開。
さすが、メンバー全員、バークリー音楽院で音楽の英才教育を受けていることもあって、アルバムのどの曲も、ソングライティングや演奏力、歌唱力ともに折り紙付きだ。
ファウンテインズ・オブ・ウェインのアダム・シュレシンジャー、KISSのポール・スタンレー、そしてカーズのエリオット・イーストンとの共作も話題になった。
