Global Bioenergies (FR0011052257, ALGBE) today announced its successful IPO on the NYSE Alternext in Paris to raise funds of around 6.6 million euros, after full exercise of the extension clause and the over-allotment option.The Sony VGP-BPS13/Q Battery price applicable to the Global Placement and Open Offer Price has been set at € 19.85 per share, the upper limit of the indicative range for IPO originally proposed between € 16.25 and € 19.85 per share.


The number of new shares issued by the Company in connection with the operation amounted to 333,675, representing 21.1% of the capital after issue of new shares. Masseran Management, a shareholder of Global Bioenergies, 133 000 new shares subscribed.


Demand in the amounts of OCT to € 6.9 million representing an oversubscription of 13.8 times. A service rate of 43.9% in A1 order of the OPO was announced by NYSE-Euronext. No order was served on A2 due to the high demand.


The total number of shares applied for under the offering was 388,360 shares, representing an oversubscription of 1.7 times.


Given the huge demand in the OPO, it was decided to focus on retail investors 23% of the shares offered after the exercise of the extension clause, against 10% originally planned. The allocation of shares subscribed 333,675 as follows:


Offering: 266,940 shares allocated to institutional investors;

Open Price Offer: 66,735 shares allocated to the public in France.

Fundraising conducted by Global Bioenergies enable it to implement its development plan and provide the necessary financial resources, including:


To finance the first phase of industrialization of isobutene


To replicate the success to other molecules of the same family (ethylene, propylene, butene, butadiene, isoprene), corresponding to an even larger market.


After the offering, the Company's capital consists of 1,580,175 shares. Its capital is allocated as follows:


Management Masseran 1,639,500 40.5%

Philippe Marlière 358 900 22.7%

Marc Delcourt 358,860 22.7%

Public 222,915 14.1%

Total 1,580,175 100.0%


Note (1): Masseran Management, a subsidiary of BPCE dedicated to the activities of venture capital, was served up to 90%.


The settlement shares will be June 14, 2011. The shares will trade from Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in continuous trading.


The shares will begin on the NYSE Alternext Paris under ISIN code FR0011052257 and mnemonic ALGB.
