3 Reasons to Become an Affiliate Marketer by James McFadden
Affiliate
marketing has been around for some time now as a means of making a living online
from home, but many people don't really understand what it's all about. This
article will explain in a broad sense what an affiliate marketer does, and the 3
main reasons why it tops most jobs.
As a newcomer to the world of online
"jobs", many people fall across affiliate marketing among many other offers out
there. There are pyramids, surveys, chains, e-mail processing and much, much
more. Out of all these options, however, affiliate marketing is one of the
safest ways to get paid, because it relies on work and creativity, and not on
other people's will to join some miracle system that could be a scam.
As
an internet marketer, you'll be paid commissions on sales you refer (or direct,
through a link), and sometimes these commissions are recurring (meaning you get
paid many times over for the same sale, nice eh?).
Usually, this is done
through a "Middle man" type site, like ClickBank or Millnics Media, which act by
taking companies' campaigns and making them available to their registered
affiliates, who then get a "hoplink" (a link that identifies them as the
referrer) to use when promoting whatever product they chose from the companies
working with the middle man site.
When somebody clicks their hoplink and
makes a purchase, they get paid anywhere from 20% to 85% of the sale value,
through their middle man site.
Distributing the hoplink is key, but it
must be done in an attractive, versatile way so it doesn't become mindless
spamming, which people hate.
More on this can be found on the reference
link at the bottom, but for now let us move on to the 3 reasons:
1> No
Boss
Who likes to have someone looking over their back while they work?
Or someone from whom they must beg for a day off to be with the family, or watch
his kids' baseball game, or go shopping with his wife. The idea of having
someone who holds your career in the palm of their hand is frustrating, no
matter how good a boss they are, because you know that, 24/7, you may be cut off
if the company wishes it, even if you've done nothing wrong fashion designer

2> No Rigid Schedule
Is there anything more
depressing than waking up to beautiful, sunny day, wanting desperately to go
running, swimming, fishing, or just flat out enjoying the day, and knowing that
you are bound by your 9 - 5 job and condemned to watch 5 out of 7 days of your
life waste away through the window of your cubicle? (if you're lucky enough to
have a window, that is... usually the boss has the window) As an affiliate
marketer, you set up your campaigns, optimize them, enjoy your day and watch the
money rolling in. Only 2 to 3 hours a day, on weekday are necessary, and you
choose which hours these are, from the convenience of a laptop.
3> No
Wage Limit
As an affiliate, there is no limit to how much you can make
per week or month, there is no having to be "promoted" or getting a "raise". As
you get better, you manage better and more numerous campaigns, and watch the
bank account grow fatter by the hour. People start off at a couple thousand a
month, and within a year some are pulling in 6, or even 7 figure salaries. It is
no joke, and in this profession, study pays off immediately Louis Vuitton
. Learning is key.
I hope
you all have a nice day, and give some thought as to how you wish the rest of
your life to be. Especially now that the government is cutting benefits and
companies want your social security money back. Good luck, and good
day!
