これらにはお決まりルールがあるので是非とも覚えていただきたいと思います。
お決まりルール
Coordinate conjunction の前後には似たもの、もしくは同じ品詞か節がきます。
例えば
The keys are on the desk or in a drawer. 前置詞＋名詞 or 前置詞＋名詞
Mr. Medeiros likes to arrive early or stay late to get his work done. 動詞＋形容詞 or 動詞＋形容詞
