「にほまち」（日本人に多い間違い）シリーズ第二弾！
日本人はグラマーに強いと言われていますが、細かいところをつっこんでいくと、けっこうわからないことが多いのですよね。
たとえば、今日のテーマ
「どういうときに大文字を使うのか？」
固有名詞の最初の文字は大文字である。これは皆さんご存知ですよね。
これはどうでしょうか？
Good morning, Mom! （おはよう、お母さん）
「お母さん」って普通名詞ですよね。でもこういう呼びかけの場合、大文字になるんです。
でも。。。
○My dad and my mom are busy.
×My Dad and my Mom are busy.
my mom のときは小文字なんです～～
曜日、月、祝日には大文字、季節は小文字＊Monday, January, Christmas, Easter
＊spring, summer, autumn, winter
位、職業（固有名詞と一緒に使われた場合のみ）＊This is Doctor Smith, this is Aunt Annie, and that man is General Bradshow.
＊That man is my doctor, that woman is my aunt, and that man is a general in the army.
特定の固有名詞を表す学校、企業、モノ＊Apple Computer, the University of Toronto, Philips Middle School
＊I want a new computer. That building is a middle school. I graduated a university.
クラブ、チーム、政党などの名前および所属する人＊the Atlanta Braves, the Republican Party, Republicans
＊I play on a baseball team.
ここで、冠詞や前置詞については普通大文字にはならないことに注意してくださいね。（句動詞など、動詞の一部として扱われる場合などは除く）
