This book is based on the author’s handwritten notebook, and writing mistakes are handled roughly. I tried to avoid identical shapes for different pronunciations, but some are unavoidable. Although it is not uncommon to present multiple candidates for a single word shape, they are shown here deliberately to help readers understand the concept of this system.
I recommend stopping practice before you begin to dislike it. There is no need to come to hate practice. However you choose to write, if you can read it, I declare it correct. I developed this shorthand system as much for enjoying shorthand itself as for its usefulness in personal note-taking.
Your own ideas in enjoying and adapting this system will enrich shorthand both as a skill and as a culture. I sincerely wish you all happiness and well-being.
本書は、著者の手書きノートをもとにしており、書き誤りは乱雑に処理している。発音の異なるものに同一の形状を用いないよう努めたが、避けられないものもある。一つの単語形状について複数の候補を示す例は少なくないが、本システムの考え方を理解してもらうため、あえてここに示している。
練習が嫌いになってしまう前に、練習をやめることを勧めます。練習を嫌いになる必要はありません。どのように書こうとも、あなた自身が判読できるのであれば、それは正しいと宣言します。私はこの速記システムを、個人メモとしての実用性と同じくらい、速記そのものを楽しむためのものとして開発しました。
