Pursiztern.
Matt questioned the juniors last year. 'So why do we uphold such strict rules in PACE? Because we strive for excellence, in everything we do.'
MJ Ryan of This Year I Will wrote that we keep at the changes we want to make because we want to train our perseverance and determinaton.
I have never looked at 'changes of habit' in sucha way. That's why Douglas makes sure gym receives top priority. Saying no to chocolates and snacks all the time is a test of determination.
Uh oh, Qiao, where is your determination? :/

No Challenge, No Kick.
Happily went to the lucky draw hoping to stand a chance to win some cash! :D
I think I went with extraordinarily high level of optimism, wanting to test out if genuine optimism really would affect the end result.
But of course i didn't win, if not it would be on facebook! hahaha.
I chickened out, after all. It was some whacking game, and big fat/muscular uncles can't even hit open the boxes, I think no point embarassing myself lah.
Initially when I wanted to walk away before the entire thing started, I thought it would be good to test my courage. I mean, I always, no fail, to shrink in uncomfy situations. I would shrink until so small my self-esteem goes back to........ zero? So I thought why not follow Robin Sharma's advice? Opposite of fear lies freedom. I have always been afraid of embarrassing myself in any ways, particularly when I am alone. So in fact, you would be able to spot a insecure me on the train if I weren't reading a book or listening to music. I would shrink in public situations. And I thought, if today was my last day, would I regret not making the attempt to overcome my fear? A BIG CHOY BTW!
That's why i chose to stay and waste my time instead of running home and study Japanese for tmr.
But uh, I didn't stayed till the end anyway, I still shrunk, and chickened out.
Now that I believe every situation in my life is a lesson from Earth School, what was my takeaway today?
1) Working my way towards the money would bring me greater satisfaction than the lucky draw whacking thing.
2) Face my fears. Okay technically I didn't overcome it, but I did face it for 50minutes haha.
3) Public doesn't give a damn about me, so i shouldn't be over concerned about how 'Public' thinks about me.
4) I really like Page One in vivo :) Lovely place, but I still can't find my book.
Goodnight dears!

Day 0 - Bitch Fast Declared!
This is it. To walk the talk, and live with the big heart that I am born with, I AM GOING TO START A BITCH FAST.
NO MORE BITCHES IN MY LIFE?
No more bitchings for the next 21 days.
Nope, nope, nope, I am serious about leaving strawberry clan and becoming durian clan.
Dear D, please keep me in check! Whenever I feel like bitching, I will text you something positive about person A! ;D
Sounds like a good and simple plan!
Yay, bitch fast for bitch detox!

The exhibition that hurt my feet.
The exhibition was great, I smell knowledge all over the place, and I'm so hungry for it.
But, hearing the conversations, witnessing the interactions made me go 'urgh'.
Profit-oriented mindset.
I wonder how many genuine figures are there in the convention hall?
Genuinely serious about providing value to customers.
I honestly think it's a simple concept to grasp : provide more value even if it causes a loss INITIALLY, because streams of profits will follow after that. The hand that gives is the hand that gathers.

8Ps
In Marketing, we learn 4 Ps - place, price, promotion, product.
In Life, we learn 8 Ps - proper prior planning prevents pathetically poor performance. Cool huh? Got it off a bali tourist guide website!
