On 18-07-2014 Sri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon'ble President of India will visit to Kasaragod via Mangalore. Hence following traffic arrangements will be made to ensure free and safe movement of VVIP
1) No vehicles should be parked on both sides of road from Bajpe Airport to Thalapady.
2) Entry of vehicles from opposite direction of the convay should be prohibited.
3) Vehicle coming from Thalapady towards Mangalore should be prohibited from 14.00 hrs to 16.30 hrs.
4) Vehicle towards Mangalore to Thalapady should be prohibited from 16.30 hrs to 18.00 hrs.
5) On 18-07-2014 from 9.00 am till the VVIP departure, no vehicles should be parked inside Circuit House and nearby.
6)These restrictions come in to effect on 18-07-2014 at 12.00 PM till the conclusion of the function.

インド大統領がマンガロールを通過してお隣ケララ州のカサラゴッドへ訪問、ついては交通規制はああでこうでﾑﾆｬﾑﾆｬ......というマンガロール市交通警察からのお知らせですね。
えーーーーーインド大統領マンガロールに来るのぉぉぉ？！
と気が付きﾋｹﾞ氏に報告した私ですが、気が付いた時間帯はすでに夕方16時過ぎ。上記予定と照らし合わせると(いくら超絶遅延が当たり前のインドでも)通過場所を突き止めて見に行ってみる～～～というには微妙な状態に。
うーん、もう少し早く気が付いていれば、日印両方の旗持って「Jai Hind！(インド万歳！)」と言いに行ったのにな～などとのんきな話をしていた金曜の夕方でした。
ただまぁ、前日から風邪で寝込んでいたので、その状態で外出できるんかい？！という問題もちょっとあったのですけどね。
とはいえ、せっかくの機会だったのに残念(何がだ
