ハクサイ積みと冬支度～crop of chinese cabbages & for winter

今週末は朝の気温が3度まで下がり寒風が吹く寒い天気でした。父は県北のKubota農機の展示会に行ってきました。毎日1000人が訪れる大展示会だったとのことでした。(　 ﾟ ▽ ﾟ ;)
It was 3℃ temperature this morning. And it swept by cold winds today. My father went to north Miyagi prefecture that is exhibition of agricultural machines by Kubota. 1000 people go there every day.

↑赤い機械は除雪機です。叔父が買いました。今年２月の２度の大雪では大人のひざまで雪が積もって交通網がマヒしましたので、除雪機は仙台でも必要かもしれません。(＠￣Д￣＠；)
This red machine is a snow-plow. My uncle buys it. There was two heavy snowfall this February in Sendai city. The snow is to the knees deep. And Because of the heavy snow, traffic was held up for 3 days. so perhaps needs to buy a snow-plow in Sendai city.

↑ハクサイ畑にきました。もう葉が成長して結球しています。このまま畑にハクサイを置いとくと寒風と雪や霜で凍みてしまうので、屋根の下に移動するのです。(ﾉﾟοﾟ)ﾉ
This is chinese cabbages field. There is head grow leaf of chinese cabbages. Such a cold weather makes chinese cabbages feeze and go bad. so we carry and croped chinese cabbages for under the roof.

↑ハクサイを横にグイッと倒して根元近くを包丁で切ります。∑(ﾟДﾟ)
My grandmather croping sideways chinese cabbages. And cut the chinese cabbages at the roots by knife.

↑一輪車で運びました。手が冷たくて冬の寒さを感じました。(;´Д`)ノ
I carryed chinese cabbages by wheelbarrow. I feel the cold in the hands.

↑車庫の下の空きスペースです。角材を横に置いて葉が直接物に触れないように積むのが貯蔵のコツらしいです。(･Θ･;)
This is a space of a garage. There is the point what chinese cabbages preservation. It is pile up chinese cabbages on the two squared lumbers.

↑もらった木製ベンチにもハクサイを積みました。ここは台所の近くです。(・・；)
I piled up chinese cabbages on a bench near the kitchen.

↑夏に収穫したジャガイモを蔵のさらに奥のガラス戸棚にしまいます。そうしないとジャガイモが凍って腐敗してしまうようです。これも毎年の作業です。(-_☆)
We Preservated potatos into a warehouse every winter. If potatos is still cold place , maybe become go bad.

↑最後にガラス戸を閉めて冬支度万全です。（￣▽￣）=３
Finally close the glass-fronted sliding door. It is complete of preparations for the winter.

↑夏に収穫した玉ねぎです。玉ねぎは多少の寒さでも大丈夫ですが、冬の強風で吊った玉ねぎがごろごろ落ちてくるのです。それで竿から降ろして蔵の中に移動しました。（ ・(ェ)・）
There are hanging onions since this summer. In winter, hanging onions fall down by the strong wind. so we carryed onions into the warehouse.

↑これで半分くらいです。家庭菜園レベルなのでこれでも十分の量です。今晩はカレーライスを作りました。もちろんこの玉ねぎも３玉使いました。Ｏｏ｡｡(￣￢￣*)
There is onions amount harf of all. We have enough onions now. My mother and I made curry and rice this evening. Naturally, we used this three onions.


そろそろ仙台では初雪が降る時期です。みなさんも風邪をひかないようにお気を付けください。じゃ、また来週！(｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ
