同社はこれを「伊勢セレブレーション・ミルクまんじゅう」と呼んでいます。箱には英語で「甘くてミルキー」と説明されています。しっとりとした薄い皮の生地に、バター風味のミルク餡が包まれたまんじゅうです。
味は決して悪くありませんでした。柔らかくて、簡単に潰れてしまいました。ミルクの味は感じられませんでした。どうやら餡はベビーリマ豆（アメリカ産）を使っているようです。唯一の不満は、後味が甘すぎて、もう一つ食べたくなるような気分にはなれないことです。水飴のせいでしょうか？ エスプレッソのような苦味のあるものと合わせれば、その余韻を中和できて、相性が良いかもしれません。

I cannot remember how or why I bought them. But I visited the Grand Shrine, so it must be a shop around there. I really liked the box presentation: a light red/orange hue with the picture of a torii gate, reminding me of my journey to Ise. The box had 6 pieces in it, each wrapped in a very elegant manner. The company calls them "Ise Celebration Milk Manju". The box describes them in English as "sweet and milky". These are buns wrapped in a buttery milk filling in a moist, thin-skinned dough.
They were not bad at all. They were soft and could easily be squashed. I could not taste the milk. Apparently the bean paste is from baby lima beans (USA). My only criticism is the lingering sweet aftertaste that does not prompt me to eat another one. Was it the starch syrup? I think they may go well with something bitter, like an espresso shot, to neutralise the after-effect.
