この夏、私は2度目となる淡路島ドライブを楽しみました。今回は、壮大な阿波おどり祭りを楽しむために徳島へ向かう途中でした。そこで、前回と同じように、途中で「SA淡路ハイウェイオアシス」に立ち寄りました。私は普段、地元の屋台で地元の特産品をいくつか探して食べたり、各サービスエリアで地元のお菓子を1～2箱ずつ買って持ち帰ったりするようにしています。今回選んだのは、「淡路ミルクキャラメルフィナンシェ」（ https:/
スポンジは柔らかく、その食感はレヴァニを彷彿とさせました。レヴァニを食べたことがある方なら、そのイメージが湧くかもしれません。しっとりとしていて、キャラメルの風味がしっかり感じられました。一口かじると、キャラメルがミルクのしっとり感を引き立てていました。甘めではありましたが、酸味は全くありませんでした。しっとりとしていて、水っぽくはありませんでした。お茶のお供にぴったりだと思います。
今回は試しに1個だけ購入しましたが、次回見かけたらまた買おうと思います。メーカーによると、これは淡路島でのみ販売されているそうですので、見かけたらぜひ手に入れてみてください！

This summer was my second time driving through Awaji Island. This time I was heading to Tokushima for the magnificent Awa Odori Matsuri. So, I did the same as I did last time and stopped at the SA Awaji Highway Oasis en route. I usually try to find a couple of local delicacies to eat from local vendors and buy a box or two of local confectionery from each service station to bring along. This time I chose the Awaji Milk Caramel Financier (https://awaji-milk-caramel-financier.jp/).
The sponge was soft and its texture reminded me of revani; if you've ever tasted that, you could get an idea. It was moist and you could definitely taste the caramel. Once you take a bite, the caramel complemented the milky moisture. There was no tanginess, even though it was on the sweeter side. It was moist enough without being runny. I reckon this could complement your cup of tea.
I only bought one piece to try, but next time I see it, I will buy it again. According to the manufacturer, this is sold only on Awaji Island, so when you see it, please grab one!
