タソス島に行く・Going to Thassos

ジョギングが終わって、ヤニスさんの家に戻ってギリシャの朝食を済まして
I came back to Ginannis' house from jogging, ate a Greek breakfast and
出発の準備をする。今回はテッサロニキから北の地方にある山脈のほうに行って
started to pack my stuff in order to leave here. We were planning on going up North
キャンプする予定だったんだが、タソス島という小島に行くことした。
towards the mountains for camping from Thessaloniki but we changed
our minds and decided to travel to Thassos island.
テッサロニキのバスステーションに行きそこから港町のカバラ行きのバスに乗り、
We went to the bus station in Thessaloniki and hopped on the bus which goes to
Kabbala which is a port town, which we then
カバラでタソス島行きのフェリー（片道１０ユーロ？）に乗った。
got on the ferry (10 euros for a Single journey) that took us to Thassos from Kabbala.



フェリーの上では特に何も起こらなかった。
Nothing in particular happened on the ferry.
潮風が吹き通る屋上デッキのイス並びの角っこに座り、灼熱の太陽光を浴びながら
I sat on the edge of the seat rows where the sea wind blows throughout the rooftop deck
餌を捕獲するたくさんのカモメを眺めていた。
and watched many seagulls hunting to catch their
meals while taking the hot blasting sunlight.




カバラからタソス島まで片道で１時間３０分ぐらい。
A single journey from Kabbala to Thassos took around 1hour and 30minutes.
やっと着いたー。
I'm here at last..

今朝のジョギング・Early morning jogging

今朝の５時１７分に起き、
Waking up at 5:17am in the early morning,
ストレッチとお水を一杯飲み、１時間ぐらいジョギングに行ってきた。
I stretched and had a glass of water and went out for a jog for 1 hour.



蕩けるようなきれいな空色勾配。所々に釣り人もいる。
A beautiful melting sky gradient. Theres people fishing around here.



ホワイトタワーまでジョギングした。人もあまりいない。
I jogged to the White Tower. There's not many people.
塔に上って街の全体が見られる、とヤニスさんに前夜に言われたから
Giannis told me last night that you can climb up the
tower and see the whole entire view of the town
わくわくしながら入り口に行ったら、鍵が掛かっていた・・
and so I went to the Entrance with excitement, having to realise that the door is locked...



ヤニスさん家の屋根付きテラス。ギリシャの家にテラスが設備されてあるのは普通らしい
Giannis' rooftop terrance at his house. Terraces are used commonly in Greek buildings
(and these can be found at Knossos as early as 1700 BCE -ref. wiki).

海とアイスクリーム・Sea and Icecream

前回の続きです。
Continued from the previous article



ここの港は船やボートがよく通る。釣りをする人も多い。
A lot of ships and boats pass through this port. Theres many people who do fishing around this area.



この写真を撮ったときに、一瞬ここは日本海？と思った
When I took this photo, I instantly thought and got confused
whether this is the Aegean sea or the Japanese sea haha





妹がアイスクリームが食べたいというから皆でアイスクリーム屋さんに行く。
My sister wanted to eat ice cream so we all went to the ice cream shop nearby.
結局、皆もアイスクリームが食べたくなったから注文する。
At the end, we all ordered one each because we wanted to eat it too.



ヤニスさん＆奥さんから色々と宿泊先からご飯まで頂いてもらったお返しとして
As Giannis and his wife has given us a place to stay and made food for us,
母親とちらし寿司を作った。
me and my mum decided to make "Chirashi sushi"

みんなペロリと食べてしまいましたヽ(゜▽、゜)ノ
It was delicious that everyone ate all in one go :P
