リメナリアのビーチ・The beach in Limenaria

今日はタソス島の反対側にあるリメナリアという村のビーチに行くことにした。
Today we travelled to the other side of Thassos island in order to go the the beach in Limenaria which is another small village.
歩道がない、自動車が追い越し可能でスピードを出してもいい
Me, my mother and my Siblings were sweating and waited at the side of the dangerous
危険な道路の横側で１時間に１本しか出ないバスを母親と兄弟達と汗を垂らしながら待った。
road that you can overtake cars and use more speed just for the bus that only comes once every hour.

バスに乗ってお金を支払いして海岸沿いや、山通りを走りながらリメナリアへ向かった。
We got on the bus, paid for the ticket and travelled towards Limenaria while enjoying the
view of the coast and the mountain views.



アジア人は一人も見当たらない。タソス島に訪れる旅行者はたいてい
I haven't seen not one Asian person at all. The holiday makers and travellers
ギリシャ人かどこか他のヨーロッパの国から来ている人達ばっかりだ。
who visit Thassos island are usually Greek people or people from other countries in Europe.



今日もスノーケリングをした。
I did some snorkelling today too.

Tシャツを脱いだときに背中が痒く、触ると背中の皮が剥がれ始めていることに気づいた。
I realised that my back was itchy and when I touched it, I realised that the back of my skin had started to peel off when I took off my T-shirt.





海とは全く関係のない話だが、近くにあるスーパーで買った
It's nothing to do with the sea but the sour cherry flavour,
サワーチェリー味、スイカ味とピーチ味のジュースが甘くてフレッシュで美味しかった。
watermelon flavour and peach flavour juice that I bought at a nearby supermarket was
sweet and fresh and tasted gooood..
ギリシャではチェリー、スイカとピーチはよく見かける。
seeing Cherries, watermelons and peaches in Greece is usually quite common.
この国の人達はスイカを食べるのが好きらしい。
The people in Greek like eating watermelons apparently.

誰もいないビーチ・The deserted beach

all I lost all the things that I typed haha..
うわああ・・　下書き保存しとければよかった・・反省しました。。
Aaaah... I should of saved it as a draft.. Hopefully I won't do this again.
っと言う事で・・まだ覚えている部分を再度書きます。＊
So.. I'm going to type down the the parts that I remember*

タソス島に前日に着きテッサロニキで予約したホテルの、オーナーの
We arrived to Thassos yesterday and the owner of the hotel who's name is "Lia" in Thassos
リアさんが車でわざわざ向かいに来てくれた。
which we booked while we were in Thessaloniki came to pick us up by car.
リアさん：「あんた達かい？うちのホテルに泊まるのは」
Lia: "Are you guys the ones who are going to stay at my hotel?"
母親：「そうだよ。ははは。あんたがオーナーさんかい？」
Mum: "Yeah its us haha. Are you the owner?"
リアさん：「そうさ！ははは！！みんな荷物を積んで車に乗りな！！」
Lia: "Of course its me! hahaha! Put your luggages and go inside the car!"

ホテルはプリノスという小さな村にある。港から車で４－５分ぐらいの距離だ。
The hotel is situated in a small village called Prinos. It's only a 4-5min drive from the harbour.
オートマのレンタカーを借りようと思ったが、この島にはどこにも見当たらない。
We were thinking of renting an automatic car but you just can't find it anywhere around this island.
（ちなみにサントリーニ島にオートマがあるのはアジア人の観光客が多い）
(On the other hand, Santorini has automatic cars available, as there are many Asian tourists)
その晩は徒歩で港まで歩いて、母親と兄弟たちとスブラキとギロスを食べた。
We walked to the harbour by foot on that night and ate Souvlaki and Gyro with my mum and my Siblings.
ギリシャ人はフライドポテトが大好きだ。料理の横にはかならず付いてくる。
Greek people love eating fried potatoes (chips as we call it). Almost all dishes comes with chips.



その翌日はちょうどお昼過ぎ、４０度ぐらいの気温が落ち始めているときに
On the next day just after lunchtime, we walked and headed South from
the harbour when the temperature that risen around 40 degrees started to cool down.
港から真っすぐ南に歩いた。そこには無人ビーチがある。
There's a deserted beach.
正確に言うと人はいるが、かなり少ない。
It's not completely deserted as theres people, but only a few.



透き通るぐらい透明で綺麗な海。
A beautiful transparent sea.



静かなさざ波の音にやわらかい白い砂。
The sound of the quite wave ripped and the soft white sand.
清らかで心やすまる美しい風景。
The beautiful unblemished landscape making you feel at ease.
落ち着く。
I felt relaxed.



スノーケリングを楽しみました。
I enjoyed doing snorkelling.



ウニもあちこちにいる。
There's sea urchin's everywhere.
暇だったから、６個ぐらい捕獲して１匹ずつ上に乗せ合体させた。ウニピラミッド
I was bored so I caught 6 sea urchins placing on
top of each other and stuck them together (with their tentacles?)
making a Sea Urchin Pyramid haha.

「こら！生き物で遊ぶんじゃない！！」ではなく「こら！食べ物で遊ぶんじゃない！！」
I remember a long time ago when someone told me off and said
と昔、誰かに怒られたのを思い出した。
"Don't play with foods!!" instead of "Don't play with living things!!"
