僕はグレッグ達とバンコクのチャイナタウンに行ってきた。 I went to Bangkok's chinatown with Greg and his companions. ６万円＋歯ブラシを数日前に盗まれたっというのになんでこんなに元気で生き生きしてるんだろう。 Why do I feel so alive and energetic even having 60000 Japanese yen and a toothbrush stolen just a few days ago?
カオサンからバスに乗ってフラワンポーンに近いチャイナタウンに行きました！ We went on the local bus from Kaosan road to the china town located near Hua Lamphong!

屋台の食べ物を食べ歩きながら While walking and eating the food which we bought from the food stalls, we were discussing about what to eat because we were still hungry.. 「みんなお腹が空いた～～」 "hey I'm hungry everyoneee.." 「何食べようかー？？」 "what shall we eat?" 「中華？タイ？それとも中華？」 "Chinese? Thai? or..Chinese?" 「中華で北京ダックが食べたくなってきたー」 "Ah man, I feel like eating Pecking duck now if we're taking Chinese" 「あーあたしもー」 "Yeah same here" 「オレも～」 "Me too" 「モンゴル料理が食べたい。」 "I want to eat Mongolian food" 「え！？モンゴル料理！？」 "What!? Mongolian food!?"
↑タバコが禁止というよりドリアンと犬のほうがよっぽど優先の中華レストラン！ This Chinese restaurant sure hates customers bringing dorian (fruit) and dogs into their restaurants, rather than smoking..
１時間チャイナタウンを回りながらいいレストランか屋台を探しているうちに After walking around china town for 1 hours to find a good restaurant or an outside food stall, ドリアン禁止の中華レストランを発見！ we found this Chinese restaurant which doesn't except customers bringing dorian (fruit) into their restaurant! 「おもしろそうー。このレストランで食べない？」 "Sounds interesting. Why don't we eat here?" 値段をチェック。 Checking the price. 「よし。屋台で食べよう。」 "Ok, lets grab food from an outside food stall".
結局、屋台の食べ物をたくさん食べました。 At the end, we ate many things from different food stalls which are selling in the streets.

今日アユタヤに行く予定だったんですが I was planning on going to Ayutthaya today お金を盗まれたため、スケジュールを変えました。 but because my money got stolen, I had to change my schedule. まず新しい歯ブラシを買って、観光警察事務所に行く前に歯磨きをしました。 Firstly, I bought a new brush and brushed my teeth before going to the tourist police office around Kaosan road.
なんで全部そこにあったものを盗らなかったのはいまでも疑問なんですが I still don't know why she didn't take all my belongings which was there パスポートとクレジットカードを盗られなくてラッキーでした。 but I still felt lucky that my passport and credit card wasn't stolen. 財布は全部で３つ持って来ていて I brought 3 wallets with me 現金札が入っている財布の日本円だけしか盗らなかったのも不思議です。 and its still weird that she only took my Japanese yen cash out from my wallet. ドルは残り５０ドル・・あ・・でも３００ドルぐらいは盗られたかも・・ The american dollar I have left is 50dollars... Ok, I think she took 300 dollars too.. 日本円札だけじゃねぇ・・米ドル札まで持ってかれた・・・ Not only my Japanese yen cash...but she took my Dollar's too... タイバーツは残り２２００バーツ札。 I've only got 2200 bhat cash left on me. ・・・ ... これじゃあロンドンにも日本にも帰れねぇ・・ I can't even go back to London or to Japan..
観光警察事務所に行って事情を話したけど、 So I went to the tourist police office and told them my story なんも役に立ってくれなかった。てめえらグルか？ふざけんな。 but they were useless. You must be on the Thai people's side (obviously these officers are Thai people too lol). Useless trash.
バックパックを一日中背負って回って疲れていたから、 I was carrying my backpack around for the whole day and I was tired from it カオサンの近くに１泊１２０バーツの安いベッドを発見してここに泊まることにした。 so I found a cheap place near Kaosan road which I stayed for 1 night=120bhat.
その１６人ベッドのドミトリー部屋で知り合ったオランダ人と仲良くなって（名前はクリス） Out of all the 16 dormitory beds with other travellers in the room which I was sharing with, I met this dutch guy called Chris 「気を取り直して足マッサージにでも行こう！オレがおごるよ」とクリスが言った。 and he said "lets go for a foot massage for a change! I'll pay for you". 彼は世界を回っているアップル社のアプリケーションデザイナーでたまたまバンコクにいた。 Chris is an application designer working for Apple and is travelling around the world building many different applications for other companies aswell in which, he was in Bangkok for some reason. 明後日にはロンドンに行って、ある会社に自ら開発したアプリケーションを He's a busy guy as he has to present his application which he constructed to a different 発表しなきゃいけない忙しい男なのだ。 company in London the following day.
僕は正直バンコクから今すぐにでも出たかった。 To be honest, I didn't feel the vibe and wanted to get out from Bangkok.
カオサン通りの路上でやっているマッサージ師に行って We arrived at this massage shop which was taking place on the streets of Kaosan road 路上にある折りたたみ式の椅子に座って二人で足マッサージを頼んだ。 and we both sat on these folding seats and asked to get a foot massage. もうバンコクは見たくない・・・と目をつぶった。 I then closed my eyes... as I didn't want to see Bangkok anymore.
「おい・・起きろおい！w」 "hey.. wake up!" なんだよ・・？人の居眠りを邪魔しやがって・・っとそっと目を開けた。 I slowly lifted my eyelids saying to that person to stop disturbing my short nap, in my mind. 「オレだよ！！グレッグだよ！！覚えてるだろ！？」 "It's me Greg! You remember me right!?" 「え・・？グレッグ・・！？なんで・・・なんでここにいるの！？！」 "Huh..? Greg..!? Wait what... why are you here!?"

最後に会ったのはチェンマイでそれ以来、なんも連絡とかしていない。 The last time we met each other was in Chiang Mai and we haven't contacted each other since then. 偶然？運命？それとも絆？ Coincidence? Destiny? Or some kind of strong bond? 僕はその特別な「何か」を強く感じた。科学でも証明できない「何か」を強く感じた。 I felt this very strong and important "thing". I strongly felt this "thing" which can't be explained by science.
その夜はチェンマイから今日までの旅話をした。 We talked about our travels that night since the day we said goodbye in Chiang Mai.

ほんとは２０分で買い物済まして泊まってた部屋に戻るつもりが I was only intending to go out to get food and drink and come back within 20min ２時間３０分ぐらい掛かってしまった。 but it took roughly 2hours and 30min to come back.
カオサン通りにある７ELEVENで食品を買って泊まっていたホステルに戻ろうとしたときに After buying some food at the 7 eleven store situated in Kaosan road and was about to go back to the hostel I was staying at, 路上でブレイキンしている８人のBBOY達を発見！！ I saw 8 bboys busting their moves on the floor of Kaosan road!! 理性を失うかのように僕はホステルに戻ることをやめて、 Without even thinking, I stopped going back to the hostel 路上でダンスしているBBOY達に向かって歩いた。 and my legs automatically turned towards the bboys and walked towards them who are dancing on the floor.
「ヴァイディー！君たちどこのクルーなの？」と聞いたら "Wai dee! Which crew are you guys from?" I asked. 「ヴァイディー（笑）こうして８人集まってダンスしてるけど、 "Haha Wai dee! We are not in a crew. We are just 8 people who オレたちクルーには入っていないんよ。最近バスキング（路上ライブ）してるんだ」 gathered and are dancing. Recently we are busking" 興味津々の僕は「オレもダンスに参加していい？」 Out of curiosity I asked "can I join you guys?" 「おー！もちろんいいよー！思う存分ダンスしてくれ（笑）」 "Oh! Yeah please do! Dance as much as you like haha"
こうして僕は彼らと１時間ダンスして、休憩していたときに And so I danced with them for 1 hour and while I took a break, 急にヤバイ腹痛がきて、すぐそばにあったKFCのトイレを借りた・・・ that terrible stomach pain came back immediately and I rushed to the nearest KFC and borrowed their toilet for a moment. なにこれ？話がうますぎるように聞こえるけど、ホントのことです。 What is this? It sounds too good to be true but it happened. Its legit. きりがねぇ・・・早く終わってくれ・・早くトイレから出たいぜ・・と１時間経過して Maan its not stopping.. please stop and just finish because I want to get out from the toilet as soon as possible.. and after 1 hour, お腹もちょっとマシになってやっとトイレから出ました。 my stomach felt a bit better than before and I got out from the toilet at last. カオサンのBBOY達は心配そうに大丈夫か？と言っていて The Kaosan bboys was worried about me and said if I was OK 僕は「早く部屋に戻らなくちゃいけないんだ。嫌な予感があるんだ。」と言い、 and so I said to them "I have to go back to my hostel room because I have a bad feeling about something.." お腹を押さえながらホステルに戻った。 and went back to the hostel, holding my stomach.
部屋の鍵でドアを空けると、キキはいなかった。 When I opened the door with my room keys, Kiki wasn't there.
持って行くつもりの赤いリュックが開けっ放しの状態でベッドの上に放置したままだった。 I saw the red bag which I was going to bring with me, just left open on the bed.
しまった・・・ Oh no...
鍵ロックが二つとも壊れていて、リュックの中に入っているモノを全部取り出した。 The 2 padlocks were broken and I took all the stuff which was inside my bag. パスポートはある。飛行機のE-TICKETはある。カメラもある・・？本もある・・ I have my passport, I still have my E-ticket for the airplane, I have my camera..? My books are still here.. なにを盗んだの・・？？？ 現金が全部入ってる財布もあるし・・・あ・・歯ブラシがない・・ What did she steal..??? I still have all my money inside my wallet... but.. I don't have my toothbrush.. ん？財布がなんか軽いぞ。クレジットカードもあるし、米ドル札もあるし、 Wait a minute, my wallet feels light. I have my credit card, I have my American dollar cash, タイバーツ札もあるし・・日本円札もある・・・あ・・・ないし・・・ I have my Thai bhat cash, I have my Japanese yen cash.. er.. 日本円札がない・・・ I don't have my Japanese yen cash... 歯ブラシと日本円札がない・・・ So I don't have my toothbrush and my Japanese yen cash.. ６万円札持って行かれた・・・と歯ブラシ・・・ She stole and ran away with 60000yen...and a toothbrush...
バックパックには手を出してなかったみたい。 But she hasn't laid a finger on my backpack though.
