Bumrungrad国際病院で検査をやって We got ourselves checked at Bumrungrad international hospital 結果が出ました。 and received our results.
ジョンはデング熱で Jon had Dengue fever （たぶんカンボジアからもらってきたんだろう） (he must of most likely got it from Cambodia) 僕は脱水症状とインフルエンザらしいです。 and I was been told that I had dehydration and flu.
僕は薬をもらって検査費と薬代を払い I was given medicine and was told to pay for the check up and medicine payment ジョンは緊急で入院しなきゃいけないことになったらしい。 where as Jon had to stay in hospital as emergency and was treated like a patient (well he is the patient)
朝起きたら体中が痛い。吐き気もして酷い頭痛だ。 My whole body was in pain when I woke up. I felt sick and had a bad headache. また二日酔いか？と思うと、いやいや昨日はビール２本しか飲んでいないし I thought that if its another hangover? but wait, I only had 2 bottles of beer yesterday そんなんで二日酔いになったら世界一弱いビールドリンカーじゃん！！ and if I actually got a hangover from that.. I'm like the weakest beer drinker in the world lol
体を起こすのもなぜか重くて辛い。 It was hard getting out from the bed as my body felt really heavy. だが僕だけじゃなかった。 ジョンも吐き気がして体中が熱くて頭がすごく痛いらしい。 But it wasn't just me. Jon felt really sick, he felt a high temperature in his body and he says he has a really painful headache.
ヤバいな僕ら。と思いながら、念のために病院に行こうと二人で相談して決めた。 Ok this isn't good. So we discussed whether to go to the hospital for check up.
ドミトリーの管理人に事情を話して、外に出て After talking to the dormitory owner about the situation, we went out メータータクシーを捕まえた。「ここから一番近い病院に連れてってくれ」 and grabbed a meter taxi. "Can you drop us off at the nearest hospital?"
（ナナの近く）Bumrungrad国際病院に着いて中に入った。 (Near Nana) we got off at Bumrungrad international hospital and went inside. 「すげぇー・・これホントに病院なのか・・？」と一瞬疑った。 "Wow... is this really a hospital?" ドバイのビルの中（行ったことないけど 笑）にいると思った。 I thought I was inside one of the buildings in Dubai (although I haven't been there haha)
とりあえず受付のフロアに行こう・・・っとエレベーターに乗って１７階に。 We hopped onto the elevator and went up to floor 17 where the reception was for international patients.
新規登録と受付をやって待った。 Got ourselves registered and waited for our turn for the check up.
お金がホントにヤバイとやっと実感して（苦笑） Now that I really feel that I really don't have much money left 観光警察事務所にまた行くが、「写真を見ても、証拠にはならないよ」 I went to the tourist police office again but they say "even if you showed me the photo, it is still not proof" は？ふざけんな 「だったらどういう証拠を持って来たらいいんだ？」 What? You guys are wankers. "so what kind of proof do I have to show to you guys?" 「残念ながら現金を盗まれてしまったのは同情するが、我々は何もできない」 "I feel sorry that your money was stolen but we can't do anything for you I'm afraid". 「それでも警察か！！！」 "And you call yourselves the police!?"
こうなったら最後の手段、救世主のメシア、ママンに連絡するしかない。 Ok my final option is to call my savior, MUM. マ・マーンに事情を説明すると、お金がほとんど入っていない銀行口座に£２００入れてくれた。 As I told her my situation, she puts in £200 into my bank account which has almost nothing. ありがとう。。 Thanks MUMMYYY.. そして近くの公園にいって頭を抱えて、状況と次の手段を整理していくときに I went this park which was near me and was sorting out my current situation and what to do next in my head, あるアメリカ人バックパッカーに出会う。彼はこれからミャンマーの山脈に行って until I met this American backpacker. He says he's going to the mountains in Myanmar 修行をするらしい。それでInto the wildという映画を見てから、お金に対する執着心が to do some training. And after he watched "Into the wild", he no longer feels the importance なくなったと言って、気軽に$200札の現金をナマでそのまま僕に渡した。 of having money so he then puts 200 dollars into my hand. 「え！？いいの・・てかなんで！？」と即座に返すと I reflectively said "What!? Are you sure I can have this..but I mean why!?" 「お金は幻なんだよ」と返された。「マネーイズァンイリュージョン」とね。 "Money is an illusion" he replies. "Money is an illusion" yes? 話がうますぎる。オレもしかしたらもうすぐ死ぬんじゃないか？と思った 笑 It sounds too good to be true. I thought I was going to die soon..haha!
泊まっていたドミトリーに戻ると、クリスはもうロンドンに旅立ったから居なく Going back to the dormitory that I'm currently staying, Chris already flew to London so he's 代わりにフランス人のジョンと言うバックパッカーがそのベッドを取った。 not here and this French backpacker called Jon was taking his place. ジョンも東南アジアを回っていて、これまで Jon's been travelling around South east asia too and so far he's been to 中国、ベトナム、カンボジアとタイを回ってきたのだ。 China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. そんなジョンと長く旅話をしているうちに仲良くなり、他のドミトリーの人たちと Talking about our long travel stories to each other, we soon became friends and ate 一緒に夕飯を食べに行った。 dinner with him and the other dormitory people.
あ、ちなみに写真に写っている人はジョンじゃないです。 The picture shown above isn't Jon by the way.
