３日目のお見舞いの夜・The 3rd night of visiting Jon

今日もジョンのお見舞いに行って来た。
I went to the hospital to visit Jon again.
旅が終わったらヨーロッパで会おうっていう話をした。
We discussed about meeting up one day in Europe after our trips finished.

午後２３時になると僕は病院から出て、
I left the hospital after around 11pm near midnight
前からナナアソックが気になっていて行く機会もあまりなく
and decided to go see what Nana Asok looks like, as I was
病院から歩いて７分ぐらいだし、行くことにした。
curious about what it is, didn't have much chance/time to go
there and its only a 7min walk from the hospital.

人が多いナナ通りをしばらく歩いてると
While walking on the busy streets of Nana,
ピッチピチなミニスカとハイヒールを履いてる
I gradually started to
see girls (or maybe they are guys..? Thats not right..)
女の子（もしかして男？）が続々と出てきた。
with really tight mini skirts and high heels,
獲物を狩るかのような眼でナナ通りを歩いている観光客をじーっと見ている。
staring at the walking tourists with sharp eyes thats about to attack a prey.

すると３人の女（男？）が僕に声をかけた。
Suddenly, 3 girls (or are they guys..?) where calling me
歩きながら無視する。
I just kept walking and ignored them.
それでも声をかけている。
But they seem to not give up and still called me (or shouted)
それでも無視する。
I still ignore them.
そしたら３人の中でもっとも強そうな女
And out of the 3 girls, one of the strongest looking girl came up to me
（たぶん男の時代はレスリング選手だったパターンのレディーボーイだなあれは。うん）
(Maybe this one was some kind of wrestler when he was still a guy.. category ladyboy. Yeah)
がゴリラのような手で僕をわしづかんだ。
and grabbed my arm with its (at this point I wasn't sure whether to
call it a he/she) gorilla hands.

え？
What the..

「あらこの子、遠くから見ても近くから見ても可愛いわね。」
"When you look at him from far away or from close up, he still looks cute right?"
と３人の女がわざと聞こえるように英語で話し始めた。
The girls started to talk purposely in English so maybe I can
understand what they wanted, so that they can get their point across.
「ボーヤ、私たちと一緒に遊ぶまで帰らせないわよ」
"Young boy, I won't let you go home until you play with us"
と英語で話しかけてきた。どいつもよく見りゃ男だな。外れた。
says one girl in English. If you really look at them,
I think they're all guys. F*ck. I'm in a dead end.

は？
Reader: "What the f*ck?"

・・と話が長すぎるからここまでにします。
The stories too long so I'm going to leave it here.
実話です。後は自分の想像でお任せください。
Its based on what really happened and I'll just leave it up to your imaginations.

ただ一つ言いたいのは、
One thing I can proudly say is
その場から生きて帰れたことですね。
that I came back out alive.

ジョンの病院生活・Jon's hospital life

ジョンが入院した翌日にお見舞いに行って来た。ジョンの荷物も持って来た。
I went to see how he's doing on the next day after he was told to stay in hospital
as a patient. I brought his luggage as he asked me a favour.
患者部屋に入ると、ジョンが寝ている。他の患者さんもこの部屋にいて
Jon was sleeping when I entered the patient room. There were other international patients
アラブ人がやたらと多い。ジョンの隣の患者さんはたぶんモンゴル人で
too and a lot of Arab patients for some reason. A mongolian patient (I think) was
迎え側の患者さんはアラブ人だと思う。
resting next to Jon and an Arab patient was on opposite Jon.

ベッドの上で見られるワイドスクリーンTVをスイッチオン。
I switched the widescreen TV on, which was adjusted a few feet high from the patients bed so that they can watch it comfortable while laying on bed.
テレビを見ている途中、ジョンも起きてテレビを見始めた。
While watching the match, Jon woke up and watched the match too.

ジョンによると、１週間ぐらい入院しなきゃいけないらしい。
From what Jon's telling me, he has to stay in hospital for 1 week or so.

色々と話した後、夜になったからドミトリーに戻ることにした。
After talking about a lot of things, I decided to go back to the dormitory in the evening.

「明日もまた来るよ」
"I'll come back tomorrow".

The sick man "Jon"

バンコクで知り合ったジョンがデング病で入院しなきゃいけないときに書いた歌詞です。

Travelling through South East Asia
Getting into troubles, my money gets stolen
by a sneaky girl from Thailand, I also had Malaria
which infected me in Laos so having diarrhea
everyday I ended up in hospital

I met this guy called Jon who stayed in the
guesthouse I was staying. We got a cab to hospital
as he was dying too. We both had examination to
check who suffered most. Poor Jon needs to stay in
hospital for 7 boring days. I just had to shit for
them to check how ill I was

Poor Jon was taken to a room where he stays for 7 days
He had high fever back and forth and can't get back to
sleep. The patient who was opposite was coughing very loud
as if he was about to faint or another attention seeker
