アンコールワットとアスパラダンス・Ankor Wat and the Aspara dance

アンコールワット１日券を買って（１日＝２０ドル）
After buying the 1 day ticket for Angkor Wat (1day=20dollars. Wow its pretty pricey!),
カンボジア人のジョンとバイクに乗ってアンコールワット、アンコールトム・バイヨンと
The Cambodia guy John took me around Angkor Wat, Angkor Tom Byron and
タ・プローム遺跡を回りました。
Ta Phrom with his bike.
相変わらず観光客が多い。なぜか心地悪くて慣れない。
Theres a lot of tourists as usual. Don't know why but I never get used to this atmosphere.
だけど建築は宇宙人っぽい感じで面白い。
But its interesting and fun looking at these alien looking architectures.

Piccolo's home place, Namek planet. Theres even palm trees from
Namek planet grown at this weird place.)

あまり観光客がいなかったアンコールトム・バイヨンで
I found this special place at Angkor Tom Byron where
唯一、誰もいなかった場所を見つけて
there wasn't much tourists at that time so I took
この神秘的な瞬間を写真とビデオで撮ることに成功！
this sacred moment as a picture and video. Twas successful!

それは置いといて、アンコールトム・バイヨンで見た無数の観世音菩薩の四面塔
Moving that to one side, I just couldn't those 4 sided weird looking
が頭から離れない。どうしても（ ´,_ゝ`）や　(´・ι_,・｀*)　のような
buddha faces out from my head. It kind of drives me crazy as those 4 sided heads looks
人をあざ笑うウザい顔に見えてなぜかイライラする　笑
as if they're laughing or smirking at the people. lol

Lotus airchair freeze infront of this ancient tree
which feeds on the ancient ruins of Ta Phrom.

アンコールワットに連れて行ってくれてありがとう、ジョン！
Thanks for taking me to Angkor Wat, John!



夜になるとテンプルバルコニーというカンボジア料理レストランで毎晩
In the evening, I heard rumours that they do a free Kumer Apsara dance show
クメールアプサラダンスショーがやっていると聞いて、どんな感じなのかと見に行きました。　
at this Cambodian cuisine restaurant called "Temple Balcony" so I went to see what its like
ここ以外のレストランでも結構見られるらしいです。
out of curiosity. Now that I know, theres other restaurants which you can see these free
dance shows too.



この人達は一体何者なんだ！？
What are these people!?
動きがエイリアンだぜぇー・・・
They dance like aliens..
特に指の反りがすごい・・（それぞれに意味があるらしいです）
its epically awesome seeing them curving their fingers
(apparently they have a different meaning that represents for each finger)
僕も真似してみよう・・あ。全然反りません。痛いです。
Ok I'm going to copy them too. Ok, my fingers aren't curving. And it hurts.


↑この子可愛かったなぁー名前なんて言うんだろー・・
She was beautiful.. I wonder what her name was..
カンボジアにまた行ったら名前教えてもらおうかなー・・なーんてね☆
I might ask what her name is when I come to Cambodia next time.. just joking haha




最後に、アプサラが一列に並んでショーが終了！
Finally, the Apsara's (dancer's) form a line standing next to each other and the show finishes!

カンボジアに行こうー！・Lets go to Cambodia!

朝の８時にバンコクからカンボジア行きのミニバスに乗って
I got on the minibus at 8am and continued my journey from Bangkok to
出発ー！！
Cambodia!!
４時間後、カンボジアの国境ポイベトに到着。
After riding on the minibus for 4 hours, we arrive to the border town of Cambodia, Poipet.
ミニバスの中で知り合ったドイツ人のカップル達と長く並んだイミグレ手続きを終わらして
I started to queue and finish the border immigration with a
German couple that I met on the minibus.
３人でタクシーに乗ってシェムリアップに向かう。
The 3 of us got a taxi form there and went towards Siem Reap.



空気がおいしい緑が多い、のどかな風景を見ながらシェムリアップに向かう
Watching the peaceful landscapes with a lot of green and tasting the fresh air,
we go towards Siem Reap.



シェムリアップに着いたのが午後４時ぐらい。
We arrived around 4pm to Siem Reap
バイクやトゥクトゥクがたくさん走ってるけど、それでもなぜかのどかな雰囲気。
and although theres a lot of bikes and tuktuk's running on the road,
it still has this peaceful and calm vibe.

夕焼けが見えるのに雨が降っている。
Its raining even though you can see the sun's setting in.



するとジョン（スペリングはJonじゃなくてJohn）というカンボジア人が
Then a Cambodian guy called John (not Jon, but John) came by
いきなり現れて、僕らをトゥクトゥクに乗せてシェムリアップで安い宿を探してくれた。
and told us that he could find us a nice cheap place to stay in Siem Reap so
we went on the tuktuk.



３件目の宿に着くと、ジョンは
When we arrived at the 3rd guesthouse, John said
「お金はいらないよ。タダでやってんよ」
"I don't need money. This is for free"
「なんで？」僕は一瞬なにかを疑うような目で言った。
"Why?" I replied suddenly being suspicious.
「あんたら好きだから、タダでやってるだけ」
"I like you guys so I'm just doing it for free"
心の中でハッと何かに気づいた。
I realised something.
ジョンを疑った自分が恥ずかしかった。
I felt embarrassed of being suspicious of John.

バンコク・Bangkok

バンコクは正直言ってあまり好きじゃなかった。
I didn't like Bangkok that much to be honest.
お金を盗まれたり、毎日下痢してマラリアで入院しなきゃいけなくなったり
Getting my money stolen, having diarrhoea everyday and ended up in hospital
カオサンはバックパッカーが集まる場所で特になんも特別なものがなかったり・・
because of malaria, having felt how NOT special Kaosan road was as
とまあ、あまりいい思い出がなかった人からの意見です。
its only a place for backpackers to meet, I didn't have much of a good memory.
Which is an opinion made by someone who had a bad experience in Bangkok.

逆にバンコクに行って楽しい思い出があった人からはまた違う意見が出るでしょう。
Conversely, the feelings can be different if they had a good fun memory in Bangkok.

そもそもバンコクに行って、自分の目標・目的を成し遂げなかったことと
What really hit me hard was the fact that I couldn't accomplish my aims and objectives
こうやって悔しかった事をブログに愚痴りまくるように書く自分が悔しいです。
in Bangkok and its even worse writing and bitching about this on my blog.
甘いこと抜かしてんじゃねぇっと自分に言ってるんですが。




かと言って、悪いこともあれば良い事もあります。
But there are good things after bad things (or vice versa)
バンコクで知り合った現地の人でもすごく優しい人や気が利く人もいたし、
and the local people I met were very friendly and kind,
お金を盗まれたときに力や助けをくれた人達には感謝しています。
I give a big thanks to those people who helped me
and gave me strength after having my money stolen.
そして偶然なのか、グレッグと再会できたのが嬉しかったです。
And if it was a coincidence or not, I was happy to meet Greg again.



バンコクにもっと長くいたら
Maybe I could of started to see the
良い部分も徐々に見つかるかも。
good side of Bangkok if I stayed there more longer.

悪い部分に堂々と向き合って立ち向かう自分がいたら
If I stood up and went against the bad things,
バンコクに対するイメージと気持ちも変わっていたのかもしれない。
maybe my image and how I felt of Bangkok could of changed.

こうして読むとなんだかイライラする文章ですよね。
You feel kind of annoyed reading this right?
