My uncles work mate and his son, my uncle, me, Ping, Rajesh and Omar.
When we arrived at Niigata station, we stared continuously at the morning
sunrise which was about to begin a whole new day.
I took my friends to my grandma's place in Niigata and the 3 of them
decided to stay for a few days.
They all find this all new because its their first time in Japan and so they were being
too polite (which is generally good but being tooooo polite isn't a good thing).
My grandma's a bit special in many different ways
and well, she's my grandma but she doesn't look like a grandma..
which kind of best describes her.
She has blond hair (sometimes dye it brown) and has 2 strong arms
that she just doesn't look
like she's in her 70's as she looks very energetic and powerful whereas furthermore
she likes to keep on track with trends and because she's always
bright she never looks old (I'll say, minus 20 or 30years from her age) and thats
my grandma...."Barba"
And my uncle who made time for us
and took my friends around special* places in Niigata. He's my Ojiji,
no my Ojisan but wait, actually .. no, he's my uncle.
He's my mum's younger brother and I always used to admire him
back then and thought of becoming like him one day.
He's another energetic and strong person who's clear with what he likes and hates
and can say his feelings clear and straightforward.
He likes girls but he's a man inside a man (I don't know if that made any sense in English :s)
who has power, energy, follows and are update with the trends.
This is my uncle.. "Shin-kun"
Shin-kun took us to an all you can eat Japanese food court for our first tasters
and ate as much as we did until we couldn't eat anymore.
After that, Shin-kun heard that his workmates son's practicing his Taiko drums
and so we went to the Schools sports-hall where the taiko practice is going on
and saw a huge team of taiko drummers practicing HARD.
We were lucky enough to see this heart stopping crazy practice
footage and performance which was emotional.
You know how different it is when seeing it on the internet and
seeing it live in front of you right?
We all went (including my uncles workmate and his son) to a Japanese pub after that finished
and drank/ate at the Japanese Izakaya.
Ping's quite strong at drinking.
Rajesh looks like he's enjoying the sake drinking
and Omar's being running off to the toilet back and forth.
Especially the last one took around 40min I think..haha
I was smashed.
And Shin-kun has work in the early morning on the next day
but still continues downing the sake one by one and becomes a monster.
