ただ今、夏休みの計画中。
ママとパパはまたもや！！僕をおいてバケーションに
言っちゃうもんだから、
その間は友達と一緒に過ごすんだ～。
ヒロミ・ザ・キャットとお姉さんのうちにいくよ。
去年もそこにいったんだけど、
お友達もいっぱい僕に会いにきてて、
僕ったらガールズたちハートを鷲づかみだったよ。
イエーイ！
でもちょっと心配なのが、
ヒロミ・ザ・キャットってば
カレーばっかり食べてるから、
僕、毎日カレーを食べられるかどうかと。。。
それから、友達のうっちーともいっしょに遊ぶんだ。
うっちーはいっつも僕におもちゃを買ってくれるから
きっと楽しいひとときになるだろね。
(といっても、たいてい、音がすごくうるさい
おもちゃか、破壊するのが楽しい！おもちゃ
なんだけどね(笑))
そんでもって、彼女はなんの恐れもなく
ゴキブリをやっつけてくれるんだ！
頼もしいゼ！
それから、それから、友達を呼んでパーティーしよう。
お部屋をとっ散らかさない程度に。。。
あとね、フジロックを逃したからには
今度こそぜったいメタモルフォーゼに行くんだ。
ベンベは僕をバッグの中にこっそり隠してくれるって。
Sleep Walkerとベンベの演奏が見れるようにね。
彼女たちはあの伝説のサックス・プレイヤーの
ファラオ・サンダースやユキミ・ナガノとも
共演するんだってさ。
ユキミにもまた会いたいな。ほんとかわいいよね。
でもとっても残念なことに、彼女、
犬アレルギーなんだってさ。
ふぅ～。なんてこった！

I'm planning my summer holiday. Mum and dad are going
off and leaving me (again!!) so I'm going to stay with
my friends.
I'll be staying with Hiromi the Cat and her sister, I
stayed there last year and got loads of attention from
lots of girls. Yeah!
But I'm a bit worried because Hiromi the Cat only eats
cury and I'm not sure if I can eat curry everyday.
Then I'll be staying with my friend Ucchi. We'll have
a good time coz Ucchi always buys me toys ( usually
really noisy or really fun to destroy). And she can
kill cockroaches without being scared!
And maybe I can have a few dogs around for a little
party, as long as they don't make too much mess.
And this time I'm definitely going to Metamorphose
Festival after missing out on Fuji Rock. Bembe says
she'll smuggle me in in her bag so I can see her sing
with 'Sleep Walker'. They'll also play with Pharoah
Saunders and Yukimi Nagano!!
I want to see Yukimi again coz she's really cute but
unfortunately she's allergic to me. Phew~
Anyway I'm going to have so much fun!

今日はぼくがCDジャケットのモデルをしてる
"Jazztronica!2"をチェックしに、
こっそりHMVに行ってきたよ。
(犬は入店禁止だったからブラック・フィンガーの
トリックを駆使したよ。まさに、
"Black finger～License to dig"ならぬ、
"White Paw License to Dig Holes"だね)
オレ、Chewがいっぱいいたよ～。
ベロをペロっとしているジャケット写真は
賛否両論だと思ってたけど、
みんなかわいくとれてるじゃんって
言ってくれたよ。
ブックレットの写真を見た人には、
何これ？犬に見えない！
フクロウみたい！イタチにも見える！
っていわれちゃったけど。。。

ハッピーバースデイ、俺！
もはや、子犬なんかじゃない。一人前(一犬前？)の犬さ。
僕はお家を守る、ファミリー・ドッグなんだ。
"子犬に注意！"なんて標識、家の前にないでしょ。
やっぱ"犬に注意！！"だよね。
うっちーが玄関のドアにのぼってきたゴキをやっつけ次第、
公園に行って、みんなに"一人前の犬になったよ！"って
知らせなくちゃ。

公園でおもいっきり楽しんできたよ～。
友達がみんなきてて、飼い主たちが僕らにチキンを
くれたり、しっぽをふりながら,
お互いのお尻の匂いをくんくんかぎながら、
走り回ったり、あちこちにおしっこひっかけたり。
超楽しかった！！
おこりんぼのジャックでさえも楽しそうだったよ。
クロエはこっちに来なかったんだけど、
たぶん、僕が誕生日を間違えて教えちゃったのかもね。
でもいいんだ。新しい友達ができたし、
モカっていう超キュートなチワワにも会えたしね。

This means I'm not a puppy anymore but a dog.
I'm the family dog, the protector of the household.
You know those signs outside houses never say "Beware
of the Puppy" right? They say "Beware of the Dog".
And as soon as my friend Ucchi kills that cockroach
climbing up the door (she's a very brave girl!) I'll
go to the park and tell everyone "Look out I'm a dog!"
... I had fun in the park. All my friends came and
some dog owners gave us chicken and we ran around
wagging our tails, sniffing each others bums and
peeing on anything that didn't move. Great!
Even Angry Jack looked like he had a good time.
Chloe didn't come though, maybe I told her the wrong
date, but it was okay coz I met some new friends and
there was a really cute Chiwawa there called Mocha.

今日はとってもハッピーな気分♪
だって、ベンベがうちにいるし、
僕ってば、ベンベにいいことしちゃった～。
ベンベは東京でショッピングをするのがだーいすき。
でも、ママがいってたけど、女の子達ってお洋服に
お金をいっぱいつぎこんじゃうことに、ときどき
ちょっぴり罪悪感をもっちゃうみたいだね。
そこで考えたんだけど、
もし僕がベンベのサンダルをがじがじして
穴を空けちゃったら、新しいのを買いにいかないと
いけないでしょ。でも、それは別に罪悪感を感じる
必要はないよね。
みんなはどう思う？これって名案じゃない？？
僕は誰かに何かをしてあげるってことが
そんなにおいしいことだなんて知らなかったよ。
しかし。。。いまやっと、僕が人間ってものを
ぜんぜんわかってないって気付いたよ。。。
ベンベのサンダルを半分ほどがじがじしたとこで、
ママとパパに
"チュウタロウ！！（怒られるときは、きまって日本の名前で呼ばれる）
なにやってんの！！！(怒)"
って怒鳴られちゃった。。。
ただベンベのためにと思ってやったことなのに。
ふぅ～。しょんぼりだよ。
でも、ベンベとママがショッピングにいくとき、
確かに笑顔だったね。ふふふ。
Today I feel very happy coz Bembe's here and I've done
something nice for her.
I know Bembe loves to go shopping when she's in Tokyo
but I also know ( from my mum) that sometimes ladies
feel alittle guilty about spending lots of money on
clothes. So I thought that if I chewed a hole in a
pair of Bembe's sandals she would have to go shopping
to replace them but wouldn't have to feel guilty about
the cost.
What do you think~ it's a good plan right? I didn't
know doing someone a favour could be so tasty.
.... Now I think I really don't understand humans.
When mum and dad saw the half eaten sandals they
shouted " Chutaro ( I know they're angry when they use
my Japanese name) What did you do??!" I was just
trying to be helpful, phew~.
And I'm sure that when mum and Bembe ran off to the
shops they were smiling.

She's going to sing with Sleepwalker tomorrow at Club
Quattro, Tokyo, 12th Aug at High-times in Takasaki,
19th Aug at Metro in Kyoto, 25th Aug at Club Quattro
in Osaka, 26th Aug at Metamorphose Festival in Izu and
27th Aug Club Quattro in Nagoya (Phew~ busy lady).
So she'll stay for three weeks!
I'm really looking forward to seeing her coz the last
time I saw her I was only three months old and I want
to show her how much I've grown!!
I have to pick her up now from the station, if I'm
lucky I'll be allowed to drive....

目黒にあるドッグサロン”DogMan”につれてってくれたよ。
スタッフがほんと優しいし、僕と遊んでくれるわんちゃんが
いつもいっぱいいるから”DogMan”はだいすき！
(ほんというと、ヘアカットや寝入るカットはキライなんだけどね)
ママとパパがちょっと顔だしがてら、
僕の足のことをみんなに話したら
スタッフのかわゆい女の子たちに
すごい心配されちゃった♪
あと、その日は友達のベルギー、クロマティー、グースがいたよ。
彼らはいつもお客さんをくぎづけにしてるんだ。
ブリュッセル・グリフォンっていう種類で、
性格はとってもスウィートで穏やか♪
そんでもってスターウォーズにでてくるイウォークに似てる。
だからね、もし僕の友達のヨーダ(テリアミックス)とジャズトロニカ1の
モデルのベーダーも集めたらスターウォーズ ドッグバージョンが
作れるんじゃないかと思って！
My mum and dad wanted to cheer me up so they took me
to 'DogMan', the dog salon in Meguro.
I really like it there (although honestly I don't like
getting my hair or nails cut ) because the staff are
always so nice to me and there are always a lot of
doggie friends for me to play with.
Today we just went to say hello and my mum and dad
told everyone about my leg so I got loads of sympathy
and strokes from the cute girls who are staff!
I could also see my friends Belgie, Cromaty and Goose
who always stay in 'DogMan' to keep the doggie
customers company. They are Brussels Griffons so their
charactor is very sweet and they're always calm but
honestly they look like Ewoks.
I think if they meet my friends; Yoda ( the terrier
mix ) and the dog model for 'Jazztronica 1' Vader (the
pug) together we can make Star Wars the dog version.

走るの我慢してお散歩するって、ほんっと難しい。
たぶんカラスの奴らは僕が奴らをもう追っかけまわせない
ってことはみんなにいいふらしてるんだろな。

あと、クロエに僕がモデルデビューしたジャズトロニックの
ミックスCDのジャケットを見せたかったんだけど、
やっぱり捕まえられなかった。。。
めちゃくちゃはやいんだもん！
あ～、はやく走り回れるようになりたいな～。
Trying to walk in the park instead of running is
really difficult. I think the crows had all told their
friends I couldn't chase them anymore because for sure
there were more than usual hopping around in my way.
Grrrrrrr.
Also I wanted to show Chloe my photo on the cover of
Jazztronik's 'Jazztronica 2' CD but I couldn't catch
up with her. She can run so fast!
I'm really looking forward to being able to run again.
今日は虫さされ予防のお薬をもらいに病院にいってきました。
(最近モスキートたちが奴らの晩ご飯にと
僕を公園で待ち伏せしてるんだよね。。。)
そしたら、なんとぼくの足がケガしてるってことが発覚！
ショック～！
僕もぜんぜん気がつかなかったんだけど、先生が言うには、
これは子犬、とくにポメラニアンにはよくあることで、
生まれてくるときにすでに脱臼してることがあるんだって、
だからとくに痛みは感じないみたい。
でも、しばらくは様子をみないといけなくって、
お散歩のときはゆっくりながく歩くようにって言われちゃった。
超走りまわったりしたら、年とってから大変なことになるってさ。
公園のベンチ、柵、テーブル、ソファー、ベット、
眠っている人だれ彼構わず、
あっちこっちでとびまわるのがだいすきな
僕にとってはかなり残念。。。
一度茂みのなかにジャンプしたことがあるんだけど、
あれはバカだったね～。
途中で動けなくなっちゃって、
自分ででてこれなくなっちゃったよ。。。
ぼくが飛び回るのが大好きなのは
ヨーキーのDNAのせいみたいだから、
きっとぼくはヨーキーのマインドと
ポメのボディをもってるんだろね。
ふぅ～、まったく困ったもんだ。
でもラッキーなことに、手術は必要ないってさ。
痛みもないし、歩くのも問題ないからね。
でも先生は一応他にも問題がないかどうか検査するからって、
僕の首から採血。
すっごい大きい注射針を持ち出すもんだから、
最初はパニックになって逃げ回ってたんだけど、
看護婦さんが“チュウちゃんがんばって！！”
って応援してくれて、なんとかじっとこらえたよ。
病院のみんな、特に看護婦さんはとってもナイスだし、
がんばったねってほめてくれたけど、
しばらくは行きたくないや～。
Today I went to the vets to get my medicine against
mosquitos (these days they are always waiting in the
park for me to be their dinner) and I was shocked to
find out I had a broken leg!
I hadn't even noticed but the vet said it's quite
common for small dogs, especially Pomirainins, to be
born with a dislocated back leg and that's why it
wasn't painful.
The vet said I must take care for a while and just
take long walks in the park and not run around so
much or I might have problems when I'm older.
I'm not happy about this because I love to jump and
jump up on everything -park benches, walls, tables,
sofas, beds and whoever is sleeping in them at the
time and once I even jumped into a bush but that
wasn't so smart because I got stuck in the middle and
had to wait there until someone lifted me out.
I think I like jumping from my Yorkie DNA so maybe I
have a Yorkie mind and a Pom body. Phew~
Luckily I don't have to have an operation because my
leg isn't sore and my walking is ok, but the vet
wanted to check for any other problems so he took a
blood sample from my neck!
He used a gigantic needle so the first time I
panicked and jumped away and he couldn't get anything
but then the nurses called "Be Brave Chewy Chan!" and
encouraged me so I tried hard to stay still.
Everyone at the vets was very nice, especially the
nurses, and they all said I was a very brave puppy but
I hope I don't have to go back again soon.

がんばったねってほめてくれたけど、
しばらくは行きたくないや～。
Today I went to the vets to get my medicine against
mosquitos (these days they are always waiting in the
park for me to be their dinner) and I was shocked to
find out I had a broken leg!
I hadn't even noticed but the vet said it's quite
common for small dogs, especially Pomirainins, to be
born with a dislocated back leg and that's why it
wasn't painful.
The vet said I must take care for a while and just
take long walks in the park and not run around so
much or I might have problems when I'm older.
I'm not happy about this because I love to jump and
jump up on everything -park benches, walls, tables,
sofas, beds and whoever is sleeping in them at the
time and once I even jumped into a bush but that
wasn't so smart because I got stuck in the middle and
had to wait there until someone lifted me out.
I think I like jumping from my Yorkie DNA so maybe I
have a Yorkie mind and a Pom body. Phew~
Luckily I don't have to have an operation because my
leg isn't sore and my walking is ok, but the vet
wanted to check for any other problems so he took a
blood sample from my neck!
He used a gigantic needle so the first time I
panicked and jumped away and he couldn't get anything
but then the nurses called "Be Brave Chewy Chan!" and
encouraged me so I tried hard to stay still.
Everyone at the vets was very nice, especially the
nurses, and they all said I was a very brave puppy but
I hope I don't have to go back again soon.
今日はビーチに行ったよ！ちょっと波がこわかったんだけど、とにかく最初に来た波をジャンプすれば、また地面に着地できるもんだと思ったんだ。ワンコ達よ、よく聞いて！実はほんとはそうもいかないんだ。最初に来た波をひょいってジャンプしようもんなら、もっと深いところにいっちゃうんだよ。ついには水がアゴまできちゃって、ちょっと恥ずかしかったんだけど、助けを呼ばざるをえなかったよ。そんなわけで、僕たちは波のない狭い岩場で泳ぐ練習をことにした。僕ったらすぐ犬かきをマスターしちゃって、わーいって感じだったから、パパが岩場から僕を抱き上げても、パドルを止めるのを忘れてて、空中で手足をじたばたさせちゃった！パパとママに超笑われちゃった。。。悔しいから彼らが眠っている間に僕はとなりにおっきな穴をほって、砂をいっぱいかけてやったよ！
ヘッヘ～。ビーチで思いっきり遊んだから、今とっても眠いんだ。ちょっとお昼ねしよおっと。おやすみんみん～♪
We went to the beach today! I was alittle scared of the waves but somehow I thought that if I jumped over
the first wave I would land on the sand again. Dogs please take notice, this doesn't work- if you jump the
first wave you land deeper in the sea! I ended up in sea water right to my chin and had to be rescued which was kind of embarrassing so we decided I should learn to swim in a shallow rock pool where
there aren't any waves . I soon got the hang of the doggy paddle and it was good fun but I didn't remember to stop swimming when my dad picked me up so I was still moving my legs in the air when he carried me out of the water ! My mum and dad laughed a lot at this so when they were sleeping I dug a huge hole next to them and
kicked sand all over them. When they woke up they were covered in so much sand! Heh heh.I had a lot of fun at the beach and now I'm very tired so I'm going to have alittle nap, night night.
