MIYAGI, Babiiiiiiiiii

初めての仙台、そして宮城！
山形での夜勤でまだ疲れています。

First time in Sendai and then Miyagi

Still tired from the nightshift at Yamagata.

あの時、九州大学ではなく東北大学を選んでいたら、
ここを歩くのはこれで1000回目になるだろう。

If that time, I chose Tohoku university instead of Kyushu University,

This will be the thousand times to walk around here.

でも、ご心配なく、福岡で勉強したことを後悔はしていません。

楽しかったし、まだ話していない話題もたくさんあります。

But, don't worry, I didn't regret about studying at Fukuoka.

I enjoyed and there were still many topics I have never told.

さて、山形のブログはしばらく続きますが、
今回は「宮城、ベイビー！」という新シリーズです。
言いたいことは山ほどありますが、短いながらも内容は充実しています。

Anyway, the blog about Yamagata continues for a while,

But this is the new series called "Miyagi, Baby!"

So many reasons to say about, but short one with full of contents for sure.

宮城のウォーキングストリートは姫路のウォーキングストリートと似ています。
郷土料理の店、カラオケ、居酒屋、パチンコなどがあります。

Miyagi walking street is like how Himeji's one is..

From local cuisine restaurant, karaoke, izakaya, to pachinko.

仙台への長旅の後、レストランで席に着く機会がありました。

待ち時間はほとんどありませんでした（お昼は食事に人気の時間帯です）。

After long trip to Sendai, I had a chance for taking seats to restaurant,

That I could have few waiting time (Noon is popular time for dining).

こちらはパスタ専門店「五右衛門」。

And this is Pasta restaurant, "Goemon".

「まずは仙台の郷土料理を食べたらどうですか？」と聞かれたら、
重い荷物を持って2時間半も電車に乗っているのは、食べるものを選ぶには良い時間ではありません。
それに、牛タン専門店の多くは待ち時間が多かったです。

If you asked me, "Why not local dish in Sendai first?"

Riding normal trains with heavy luggages for 2.5 hour is not good time to select foods to eat.

And many gyutan restaurants had a lot of waiting people.

3年間、あまり知られていないシリーズが続いてきましたが、
「店員さんにおすすめのメニューを聞いて、そのメニューをお願いします」。
今こそ、これを広める時です。

After 3 years of the unfamous series,
"Asking waiter for recommended menu, then try that one please".
It is a time to popularize it.

今回は長崎ではなく宮城ですよ！

This time, it is not in Nagasaki, but MIYAGI, baby!

ご存知の通り、ここは夏でとても暑い時期です。
そこで、ウェイターがこのメニューを勧めてくれました。

As you know, it is summer here with very hot time.
So, waiter recommended this menu.

After waiting for long time, actually 15-20 minutes,
(Soup was cold on the time that manu arrived)
I got the ordered menu.

かなり長い時間、実際には15～20分ほど待った後、
（メニューが届いた時にはスープは冷めてしまいました）
注文した料理を受け取りました。

狭いスペースにお客さんがたくさんいて、

ウェイターの仕事もたくさんありました。
料理が出てくるまでにどれくらい時間がかかるのか理解できました。

So many customers with narrow space and several tasks for waiters.
I understood how long it should take to get the dish

全体的に見た目はとても美味しそうに見えましたが、

量はあまり多くありませんでした。

Totally, appearance was good, 
It looked so delicious but not with high amount.

 正直言って、すごく美味しかったです。
冷たいラーメンを食べているような感じですが、温かいスパゲッティです。

Taste was so good, to be honest.
Like eating cold ramen, but it is hot and spaghetti.

スパゲッティにはたくさんの種類の野菜が入っていましたが、

バランスの良い食材で健康に良いと思いました。

There were so many types of vegetables in the spaghetti,
But I thought it was good for health with balanced components.

でも、1300円というのはちょっと高い気がします。
平均価格は1000円前半くらいですが。

But it seems to be al little bit expensive in my feeling with 1300 yen,
Although average price is around early 1000 yen.
