"I went to Blood donation and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"

(「献血に行って、もらったのはこのつまらないTシャツだけだった」)

その時は、世界献血デーでTシャツをもらうって、
お粗末な功績バッジももらいました。

That time I didn't got that until I actually got T-shirt at the World Blood Donation Day.

And some lousy badge of achievement as well.

ちょうど10年前、タイで献血に行った時のことです。

7回献血記念バッジとTシャツをもらいました。

Exact 10 years ago, in Thailand..

I went to blood donation and got T-shirt along with 7th time commemorative donation.

そして、今日、仙台市にある献血センター「AOBA」にて。。
記録は日を追うごとに更新されています。

Now, here it is, in Sendai at the blood donation room AOBA.

The record was going up day by day.

駅近くのAERほど混雑していなかったんです。
しかし、予想以上に長い行列ができました。

Not so crowded like the near-the-station AER one.

But queue was quite longer than expected.

しかし、私はあることに気づきました：ヒューマンエラー。
工場やサービス業で働いているなら、
ストレスや疲労がこうしたミスの主な原因だと私は思います。
様々な業務を担当する多くの人々と一緒に働いていると、

その気持ちがなんとなく理解できます。

But I realized in one thing: About human error.

If you work in factory or service industry,
I think stress and tireness are main cause for such errors.

I somehow understand when I work with many people with differrent duties.

落ち着きことが、問題解決のための最善策だからです。
工場で働いていると、エラーや不具合は日常茶飯事です。
しかし、それをどう解決し、改善していくかがはるかに重要なのです。

Because keeping calm is the best way to think on how to solve it.

When I work for the factory, error or defect are so normal,
But how to solve and improve it is much more important.

献血後についてですが、

正直言って、あまり期待していませんでした。
なぜなら、人生は日々高価になっているからです。

About after the blood donation,

I didn't expect too much about it, to be honest.

Because the life becomes more expensive day by day.

というわけで、2026年に新しいフレーズを手に入れました。

「献血に行ったのに、もらったのはこんなつまらないステッカーでした。」

So, I got the new phrase in 2026.
"I went to blood donation and all I got was this lousy sticker."

悪意は全くありませんでした。

献血について興味があって、気になっただけです。

I didn't mean anything in negative way,
Just feeling curious and interesting. about blood donation.

献血に行くたびに、宮城のこういうところを実感します。
他の場所での献血とは対照的です。
もしあの時宮城で留学したら、

私の考え方は変わっていたかもしれません。

Every time I went for blood donation, this is what I feel Miyagi.
In contrast of blood donation at the elsewhere.
If that time I studied in Miyagi, my mind would have changed.
