I know I haven't been updating. That's cos I'm muthafucking busy omg I think I'm gona die. And eventho I'm busier than a bee (why are bees always busy anyway??), I'm still not rich wtf. Sad.
I went thru my phone/cam/old phone and found this peeekies. This post is gona be messy, random and picture-intensive, but whatever lar.
SO! Other than I've got my new baby Ringo-san ... life has been more or less the same. Except that I've been having supa alot of good food during lunch, hehehe. Let's see....
Thai food
There's this little run-down restaurant in Orchard Towers that sells authentic thai food. How authentic? The place is run by thais, that applies to the chefs too, of course. Reasonable price too!
Japanese food
Had sudden cravings for sushi. The nearest jap restaurant around was.. at my hotel lobby. Akashi Japanese Restaurant. Fucking expensive, fucking delicious at the same time too!! It's the day where I learnt how to appreciate sashimi (and also the day that I was gan pua suay~)
Cha soba + 7pcs sushi cost $20++, that's taking into consideration the lunch time promo.
Italian food
Yes, Modesto's. At my hotel lobby too. I supa love their cabonara pasta lor!!! And it's supa cheaaaaaaap. 1 main + soup/salad + bread + drink, only....dengdengdengdeng $12nettttttttttt. Supa worth it I swear.....
Western food
I had this cheese coated grilled dory at Tanglin Mall. So-so. A pc of dory + chunks of potato cost me 9bucks. Oh well, for the potatoes~~~ I forgive.
Black Angus. Supa worth too. Soup + main + dessert + drink..... $20+. Omg the soup is to kill for. I had ribs for my main that day
Hard Rock Cafe. Only loved the fries, heh. Was considered cheap too. Soup + Main + drink + Haagen Daz ice cream for about $20.
Last good food of the month!! Soup spoon @ Ion. And I saw TJ's uncle there that day too! Had a short chat heeeeee. Finally settled my craving for mushroom soup!!
Yea so now you know why am I not rich, yet. The cheapest food around office is prolly McDee. But I can't possibly eat it everyday ma.
Hmmmm. Cek Gong passed away in the month of Oct too, excatly 4weeks after Gong Ah passed on. Same time, same pattern. Too much of a coincidence or what. Attended his wake. Felt a lil bad not attending the final send off. We weren't allowed to as we were still mourning then. Everything seems like deja vu! Same caterer for the wake somemore.
Attending wake is actually quite boring to be honest. Besides talking to random people, the next best thing to do is to help wipe out the peanuts. It's already been paid for anyway!!
Gong Ah's 49th day @ Ann Siang Hill...
Mamu folded supa lots of ingots. He's a filthy rich man by now, hehe.
The two dads in my life :)
(not the bald one in orange hor!!!!!!!)
Camwhores!! Even in temple also must take photo hehehehehehehehehehehe.
Then I met buddy on one of the nights to pass her my notes, hehe. Pasta mania for dinner! Sigh when will Ichiban open a branch at WCP?? I swear I would be a very loyal faithful and accomodating patron!!!
Sweet colleague of mine got me chocos from Ozzy Have yet to taste it tho, I can't bear. Heeeeeeee.
On that same day, another colleague of mine gave us sweet treats, she's getting married! Okay by the time I update this blog, she's already married actually. Prima! Omg brings back memories~
Talking about colleagues, some of them were pretty amazed at how cute Chip san is, especially when I made him come into life, haha!
But I don't understand why 85% of them will give me that WTH-face whenever they come and look for me. Because I usually hug Chip san in front of me (especially when I'm supa stressed/sian/sleepy/dulan, which is 95% of the time), I'd look something liddat:
I love resting my chin on Chip san's forehead. Oh my Chip san!! My source of comfort at work! heeehee.
Ash is always aiming at my Chip san, trying to kill it. Evil. This is Ash btw:
My cursing partner muahahahahaha. Paiseh this pic of her is her cui-est moment. But it's the only pic I have of her lar, so can't blame.
On one of the days while cabbing to work, this old cabbie, walau, gay kiang say go by short cut. Looking at his balding head, grey hair, wrinkled arms, saya thought he very experienced so I just agreed. Knn lost his way, wind here and there lor TMD. I realised I don't have cabbie luck recently, pui!
BUT, being easy-to-please, I forgave him because he made the effort to zng his cab. And it's LEOPARD PREEEEENS *very bimbotic*
And I went to work on one fine day, without contact. Why? I FORGOT to put them on. Power.
I remembered I met up with the cousins on a Sat. Just four of us girls. HV first for dinner and beer. Then to club @ Filter. Deborah left to join her friends at St James tho. Vodka orange all the way.
Attended the grand opening of Bistro@Ayden
as well. Pasir Ris!!!! Supa farrrrrrrr. Maria came too!! I love the free flow Hoegaarden that night, heehee!! On to some random place in Clementi to continue drinking after Pasir Ris.
On another Saturday. In an attempt to keep me at home, Mamu gave me this:
After hearing me rant consecutively for a few nights "I wana eat crab I want crab I WANT CRAAAAABBBB LLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
BUT, I still went out, hehehehe. Met up with TJ, to welcome her ai ai Royston back home~~ Lele Pot @ tiong Bahru. Overrated!
Then to Izzi KTV Pub @ Ngee Ann Alumni.
Speaking about TJ, she's damn bloody into animals recently, especially sheep. I suspect she's having some secret affair with yang meh meh or something. Look:
Lao Ba's rich ass indo friends came to Singapore the other day. Brought them to RWS. Walau they gamble by tens of thousands lor. Scary. And thanks to them, we had free supa-expensive durians from Geylang. $160 for 3durians and 4coconuts, really kill man put fire eat the bones (sha ren fang huo ken gu tou). Other than being supa fleshy, the taste of the sweet yellow thing is mediocre.
How fleshy? Look at how deep my thumb could sink into it.. and the seed is so small compared to the bigggggg "hoot" of liulian~
They brought us a carton of awesomest mangoes from Indo too. Exceptionally sweeeeeeeeeet. Yums~~~~
I met up with Sissy on one of the weekdays after work too. Boat Quay!
Had a last min meetup @ Taka one day after work. Dine at Mr Sushi Grill Shop. Supaaaaaaaaa delicious!
They had the Hokkaido fair that day too. How could I leave without my all-time favey Hokkaido Croquette?!
Met up with Sissy, Jacky, JJ and Lincoln. JJ's bday treat at Brussels Sprouts at Robertson Quay. I like Hoegaarden, but I don't like their pint mug. SO HEAVY!!!! Had to tilt the glass while resting it on the table lor. Sibeh unglam!
Shared a pot of mussels with Sissy. And OH AM GEE their free flow fries is to kill for!!!!!
What's chunky fries without mayo??
Brewerks for Golden Ale thereafter. Home at 2+am.
AND!! On 27th was Sissy's bday treat at Ma Maison :)
I love the ambience of the restaurant. So homely and cosy.
Scallop Carpaccio. Raw scallops in short.. Yummmmmmmmmmmmms!!!!
Escargots!! First time trying it. Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Beef Stroganov Omurice for Sissy & JJ.
And my Mentaiko pasta!! Superrrrrrrrr love!! Omg I didn't know mentaiko is so heavenly lor! I can't describe the taste, you just have to taste it personally!
Hokkaido ice cream for desserts before hopping over to Clark Quay for drinks at Clinic
Our Blood Transfusion and Sex On The Drip.
Morphine :)
Frozen Dispensary Cookie. The description states it consists vodka and balley's. But seriously, it tasted like normal Oreo milkshake lor fml.
And yay that's about my very random update! See you when I see you~~~~
