Jim Brower played catch and threw a bullpen sessions at Hiroshima Municipal Stadium on Friday.
He said that he needed to adjust to the Japanese way, and was confident he could help Carp.

A Carp pitching coach told reporters that he hoped Colby Lewis would rejoin the active roster on August 17.

Ben taken off Roster

The Central League website said that Ben Kozlowski was taken off the 28-men active roster on Friday.

I assume that Jim Brower will be added the active roster on Saturday.
Ben Kozlowski can rejoin the active roster after August 12.
And Colby Lewis can do that after August 17.

Press conference by Jim Brower

The Carp held a press conference to introduce Jim Brower at Hiroshima Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.
Brower said that he knew Carp fans were very energetic and wanted to pitch for the Carp as soon as possible.

He played for the Class-AAA minor league baseball affiliate of the New York Yankees with Ben Kozlowski in 2007.
