The Carp won their third consecutive game by beating the Tigers 5-2 on Wednesday.
Scott Seabol hit a solo homer in the seventh inning from Chris Resop.
Seabol went 1-for-4 including his ninth home run.
Jim Brower threw a scoreless inning of relief, allowing one hit.

The Carp scored seven runs in the eighth, and beat the Swallows 12-11 on Monday.
Mike Schultz allowed two runs on four hits in the seventh.

Fukuchi popped out to shortstop.
Kawabata singled to center, Yuichi to third.
Iihara singled to left, Yuichi scored.
Hatakeyama struck out swinging.
Aaron Guiel singled to right, Kawabara scored.
Iihara failed to steal a base to end the inning.

On Tuesday, the Carp defeated the Tigers 6-1 at Osaka.
Jim Brower pitched a scoreless inning in relief, allowing no hits and no walks.

vs Swallows on Aug. 3

The all-star break ended and the regular season games resumed on Sunday.
Mike Schultz and Jim Brower did good jobs, but the Carp lost to the Swallows 0-2 at Hiroshima Municipal Stadium.

Mike Schultz allowed no runs and no hits, and struck out one.
