The Carp held a press conference to introduce Jim Brower at Hiroshima Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.
Brower said that he knew Carp fans were very energetic and wanted to pitch for the Carp as soon as possible.
He played for the Class-AAA minor league baseball affiliate of the New York Yankees with Ben Kozlowski in 2007.
