"Nakatsu and Iwasaki's quarrel is reignited, and a one-on-one match is set for the June 3rd Shinjukumura show

"To the final showdown"

April 5th saw Naomi Yoshimura and Akira Jo winning DNA's first ever tag tournament. In the finals, Naomi Kingdom, who have been rampaging through DNA, completely overwhelmed KO-D 6 Man Tag Champions Yuki Ueno and Kouju Takeda. This resulted in Ueno once again promising to get his revenge against the arrogant and overbearing unit.

In the midst of this tournament, however, one more deep-rooted connection was born. That connection was between Kouki Iwasaki and Ryota Nakatsu, who had lost to Ueno and Takeda in the semifinals.

They made their debuts on the same day, but they've never had a good relationship. However, they decided to join forces because they believed in each other's strength, and, using the experiences they gained from  DNA and BASARA, they aimed for victory together in the tag tournament. In the first round, however, they won not with teamwork, but with reliance on their own abilities, giving the impression that there was some discord between them.

Then came the semifinals. They had managed to make it this far by relying on their individual power, but at the last moment, there was some friendly fire. Nakatsu aimed a high kick at Ueno, but ended up hitting Iwasaki, and right afterwards, Iwasaki was rolled up for the three count. In the end, the thing that decided the outcome was teamwork.

At the May 9th show, their quarrel was reignited. After their match, where they faught on opposing teams, Nakatsu launched into a verbal attack on Iwasaki. A furious Iwasaki rushed to attack Nakatsu, and a huge fight broke out.

After that, there was no choice for them but to agree to settle things one-on-one. Immediately, Nakatsu demanded a singles match at the next DNA show. Iwasaki accepted the challenge, and later, the match was officially decided for DNA's Shinjukumura show on June 3rd.

Nakatsu stated that this would be their "final showdown". This is sure to be an unmissable, fierce battle between the two."
