Aloha I’m Natsumi.
I think I want to talk about Wakayama prefecture today.
今日は和歌山県のことについて話したいと思います。
I was born and raised in Wakayama prefecture.
私は生まれも育ちも和歌山県です。
I have a tea plantation in Wakayama, too.
私が茶畑を所有している所も和歌山です。
Wakayama prefecture is positioned in Kansai area (west Japan).
和歌山県は関西地方に位置しています。
It is located south of Osaka.
よく場所がわからないという人がいますが、大阪の下にあります。
Wakayama prefecture has a lot of mountains, beaches and rivers.
So it has lots of nature.
和歌山県はたくさんの山々があり、海があり、川もあります。
大自然がたくさんあります。
Also Wakayama prefecture has many hot springs such as Sirahama, Ryuzin and Yunomine hot springs.
また和歌山県にはたくさんの温泉があり、白浜温泉や龍神温泉、湯の峰温泉などがあります。
Shirahama is an area famous as a sightseeing spot by the sea.
白浜は海に面していて観光地としても有名な地域です。
You can enjoy diving and surfing in this area.
ダイビングやサーフィンを楽しむことができます。
Ryujin hot spring is regarded as one of the three most skin beautifying hot springs in Japan.
Driving Ryujin Skyline is also very famous. In autumn you can drive and watch the
beautiful autumn leaves of the mountains.
龍神温泉は美肌効果のある泉質で、3大美人の湯の一つとされています。龍神は龍神スカイラインというドライブコースが有名です。秋には山々の紅葉を観ながらドライブすることが出来ます。
Yunomine hot spring is regarded as one of the three oldest hot springs in Japan,
it was opened 1800 years ago and it is a very historical hot spring.
湯の峰温泉は3大最古の湯とされていて、開湯1800年と歴史ある温泉です。
Please come to visit me in Wakayama.
