I was surprise to find this beer from Greenland at the beer store.
It has a nice amber colour.
The alcohol is too high, you can taste it more than other flavours.
Or maybe Greenland's water taste different?

This Czech lager was very tasty. Fruity aftertaste.

Sleeman's Honey Brown
It seems that I only buy Canadian beer when my wife's parents come to Canada.
Maybe because I am too busy trying beer from other countries.
But also because I don't think many Canadian beers are very good tasting.
This honey brown lager is really just a regular Canadian lager with a little sweetness.
Of course I will happily drink it when I have them!
But I would prefer something with more flavour.

Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout
It's been a while since I posted here. 6 weeks or so. My kids are keeping me busy so I have not had much beer to drink.
Last month I did have a new beer by Hitachino. It is their Espresso Stout.
I enjoyed it more than a regular stout. The bitterness of the espresso gives it a more interesting taste.

Lion Stout
This beer from Sri Lanka was bought at the Alltek Smile liquor store in Naha.
I drank it at the JAL Private Resort Okuma on the north side of Okinawa.
This stout beer was excellent. Tastes first of chocolate and caramel, aftertaste of sweet and burnt malt.
More importantly, this is the nicest beach I've ever been to. And my 2 year old son loved it too! It was his first time in the ocean.
