The Challenge and Joy of Argentine Tango
Learning Argentine Tango has been such a
rewarding journey harder than it looks but so
much fun! The intricate steps and fluid
movements make it a true art form, though
I can’t seem to remember all the steps just yet.
But I’ll get there practice, practice, practice is
the key! LOL.
Thankfully, my incredible teacher, Koji
Hanaoka, is patient and supportive, making
every class a joy. Tango may look elegant and
smooth on the outside, but it’s a real workout
for the body and mind!
Before class, I tried a 30-minute EMS
(Electro Muscle Stimulation) session. It’s
intense! Those 30 minutes are equivalent to
20,000 sit-ups, 20,000 squats, and 5 hours of
jogging. Talk about efficiency! I also checked
my in-body results and was thrilled to see I’m
gaining muscle while losing fat. Building
muscle is so essential for burning fat, and I
to see the progress.
Sleep is another critical part of this journey
don’t underestimate how much it helps with
recovery and overall health. After all that hard
work, I treated myself to a cozy hot pot (nabe)
with Chinese cabbage, tomato sauce, cheese,
and hot sauce. It was warm, filling, and the
perfect way to end a cold, windy night.
I’ll upload my EMS and in-body data
soon to share more about my progress.
Until then, I’m off to keep practicing my
Tango it’s all about those small, determined
steps forward!
Wishing you a fantastic day.
Love you,
Caiya
