Father Donnon my teacher of life passed away.
I was so lucky to see him before he passed away on Friday. We even shared a little cheesecake.
Father Donnon was my light in time of darkness at many points in my life.
Most of my marriage he counseled me thru it.
The last 3 years was very tough with the trial. He was always there making me laugh, telling me stories about his childhood, and just making everything seem like a lesson that I was going to get thru.
I said my last goodbyes today.
I will miss him greatly but I am so lucky to have had him in my life.
I know someday we will share fig newtons again.
