ある日曜の朝に、何年前に知り合ったすばらしい友人から突然電話がかかってきた。

本当にサプライズだったわよ。
He told me he was in Tokyo for the night and wanted to talk. What a great surprise...
私は彼との五年ぶりの再会にすこし興奮してたが、もしかしたら話が弾まないのではないかという不安もあった。
I hadn`t seen in about 5 years so I was a little excited and also nervous about the thought of catching up...

でも実際、彼にあって、話がすごく盛り上がった。まったく五年間の空白を感じないまま私たち何時間も話した。
But the minute we met the conversation just flowed, it was like he never left....we spoke for hours.......
その翌日、彼はLAに戻る予定、私も仕事で沖縄に行かなければならないが、私たちは、これかれも連絡取り合おうねと約束した。
Even though he had only that night since he was flying back to LA and I had to go to Okinawa for location we promised to stay in touch...
