Today, Kai went to his favourite park with his friend Julie.
Wheeee!
He is having too much fun.
Later...
He even managed to feed monkeys! (A bit hard to see, but there is a small monkey behind the cage.)

Where is he going?
Sssslide!
Look at this smile! (oh yes, he is going back again and again and again and again....)
He will probably really hate me for putting this picture out when he grows up.
But I just have to.
Precious, huh?
By the way, thank you very much for the cool baseball cap, Nain and Taid!
I don't know why and maybe all kids are the same, but Kai goes absolutely mental right after his shower.
He runs and jumps and doesn't want to get dressed and forever wants to stay naked.
"I am not getting dressed!"
"I am playing..."
"Oh, I cannot help laughing though!"
He is VERY happy after his shower.
The typical Kai expression right after he gets up.
I can already imagine how it could be when he is a teenager...
"Let me see..."
Now, a little bit better. A little smile emerging at the corner of his mouth...
Kai's learning curve has been quite steep, when it comes to cooking.
Here, he is getting a lesson on how to make a home-made pizza.
Look, how serious he is!
Having a little Daddy-Son session.
The result!!!
I am still struggling with my cold a bit, but I decided it was better to just go out rather than stay home and getting pestered by Kai.
So here we go - we hit a park near my parents' place (a bit of a drive, but completely worth it).
Kai chasing Nanami.
Crossing a bridge....
Finally got to the slide...
and caught up with Nana in the tunnel.
He really liked the park, and absolutely enjoyed playing with Nanami. He had such a great time.
Here, according to him, Kai is cooking some Tofu.
Dead serious.
Long time no update.
No, we've been doing fine, it was just our lives were so full of non-special-events that I didn't have anything to update this blog with. Oh, and both Kai and I got some kind of cold and that didn't exactly help, either.
Anyway, I got some photos from the past few days here.
From Sunday 16th.
Are you having an experience of deja vu?
No, this picture was taken afresh the other day, I promise.
He can professionally pose for a cover of a cooking book nowdays.
And from yesterday - Monday 17th.
We found a crazy wild seal in our bathtab.
He is really happy in the water.
And finally today:
We went to visit the new park - this time prepared with the bottle full of soapy water.
He had such a good time blowing bubbles - and there was this little girl who kept chasing them, which made the whole thing a lot more fun for him, too.
It was such a nice warm spring day that there were many people having picnic in the park. Kai so wanted to join them. Maybe we shall do that tomorrow...
Yet another nice day - obviously, we had to go out to take advantage of the weather.
So, today's destination was the Yoyogi Park.
One excited kiddo here. Oh, the white stuff is my shirt, never mind.
G getting a bit of sun.
Going into the deep woods...
Kai is looking for a....
Stick. He (once again) named it crocodile.
After reading the book "Owl Babies," every time he sees a knot in the tree trunk, he screams "Owls! Owls!" Here, he is inspecting one of the knots.
Here, he is being an owl himself.
G made an amazing roast beef dish for dinner tonight to complete this wonderful day. Oh, and Kai for the first time in his life pooed in the toilet!
On this Saturday, we joined the opening ceremony of the new near-by park.
Kai had a great time playing at the park, and then we took a walk around the neighborhood...(zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...oh, for a moment I lost my consciousness since writing about that day was a bit too boring...park, walk, yet more park, and then grocery shopping....zzzzzzzzzzzzz)
Anyway, here are some pictures. He is playing with water at the fountain (not in the new park).
Needless to say, he got completely soaked wet.
After coming home, G started reading a book about personal finance, while Kai was reading a booklet called "Young Savers" - yep, we received a nice package from Nain and Taid, than you very much.
